Hallmark star Nikki DeLoach shared a vulnerable take on what she declared was a “transformational year” as she bid farewell to 2025.
DeLoach, who has starred in numerous Hallmark projects, such as “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas” and “Home Turf,” posted her thoughts in an Instagram post on January 7.
Nikki DeLoach Embraced Raw & Vulnerable Feelings Throughout 2025
When looking back on 2025, DeLoach wrote in the caption of her Instagram post that she “shed layers, tears and fears, many that I had been holding onto for decades.”
She continued, “I have never felt so openly vulnerable, raw.”
“I normalized reaching out for help, allowing my nearest and dearest to carry me, advise me, console me.” DeLoach explained, “I sank deeper. I paid attention. To everything. But especially to my-Self,” DeLoach added.
DeLoach explained that during 2025, she openly and consciously considered what things were her responsibility to process, fix, or carry. “I trusted. I leaped. I landed. In my body. In the spiritual eye of my heart,” she noted.
The Hallmark star also admitted, “I wish I could have arrived here ten years ago, even two years ago. But, my body wasn’t ready. I wasn’t ready.”
The Hallmark Star Feels 2025 Was Both Painful & Enlightening
DeLoach referenced 2025 being the Year of the Snake, and she wrote that it “worked its way through me like drain cleaner through a drain.”
She noted that her phrasing wasn’t “a poetic analogy. Just an honest one.”
The year 2025 for DeLoach was “painful and exhilarating and enlightening,” she shared. She also included a reference to her deep faith, which helped guide her.
“Trust in the divine timing of your life,” DeLoach urged. She signaled to her followers that they are safe and loved, as well as the fact that they are love and free.
In November, DeLoach opened up to EntertainmentNow about difficulties from her childhood.
DeLoach has started to speak out about the abuse she experienced growing up. Her willingness to share her story with others comes as she continues to navigate the grief she has over her father’s death in 2021, as well as the trauma of watching her youngest son, Bennett, go through multiple heart surgeries.
“I have got to speak up because it’s the right thing to do,” DeLoach told EntertainmentNow.
She pointedly stated she doesn’t care if her determination to speak up costs her social media followers. DeLoach said, “If you are too concerned about people unfollowing you to step up and say the truth and to fight for humanity and to do the right thing? That’s absolutely not right.”
Her new Instagram post reflecting on 2025 suggests that DeLoach is proud of the decisions she’s made and indicates she plans to continue speaking up. She has found a lot of healing in the choices she’s made, and she seems ready to embrace what’s ahead.
