The “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” star Kelsey Swanson is putting her “very unorthodox” love life front and center.
During the series’ early episodes, Swanson revealed she’s currently involved with two men. She has a longterm boyfriend who lives in Miami and another man, William “Bill” L’Europa, who has since made his on-screen debut.

In a confessional during Season 1 episode 3, Swanson opened up about the nature of her primary relationship.
“With my boyfriend, we’ve always had a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ relationship,” she explained. “But I do know that he’s not being loyal to me. And if you can do it, why can’t I?”

Introducing Bill L’Europa: Boyfriend Number Two
Viewers were formally introduced to Bill during a coffee date featured on the show, where Swanson shared more about their long history. The two have known each other since seventh grade, with Swanson recalling that Bill was one of her earliest crushes.
“We actually grew up together,” she said in an interview with BravoTV.com. “We kind of saw each other here and there in high school but always had different friend groups. Eventually, we connected a couple years ago and kind of stayed connected ever since.”
Unlike her long-term boyfriend (who remains to be seen), Bill has been open to appearing on camera, even if somewhat reluctantly. Swanson revealed that while her primary partner initially considered being part of the show, he ultimately chose to step back once it became part of the “Housewives” franchise.

For now, Swanson maintains she would be happy either way, and she’s embracing a path that, while unconventional, is entirely her own.
