Bravo is set to add another group of women to its “Real Housewives” franchise – this time in Rhode Island. Fans recently got a sneak peek of new cast member Kelsey Swanson and she revealed that her romantic relationship isn’t what most people would expect.

“I live a life of luxury, and I’ve been lucky to be a lady of leisure for ten years now,” Swanson, 30, said in a sneak peek of the new series that aired during the “RHOSLC” reunion on Tuesday, January 27.
She continued, “My relationship is very unorthodox. You know, this man dates multiple people.”
While fans are dying to find out exactly who this “man” is, his identity has been kept under wraps so far. However, Swanson’s official Bravo bio gives a tiny clue.
“Former Miss Rhode Island Kelsey keeps a full plate as one of the state’s top makeup artists,” the bio from Bravo reads. “Kelsey has been in a 10-year relationship with one of Rhode Island’s most notable figures, enjoying the lap of luxury while keeping her social calendar full.”
When the first look at “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” was released in November 2025 at BravoCon, Swanson clarified that she didn’t see herself as what some people called “a sugar baby.”
“My boyfriend is actually attractive,” she said in a one-on-one confessional. “The money is just a plus.”
Swanson, herself, is successful in her own right. Along with her new role as a reality TV star, she’s also one of the top makeup artists in Rhode Island.
Bravo Teases New Faces Joining ‘RHORI’ Cast
Joining Swanson as a cast member this season is former “Bachelor” star Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Rulla Nehme and Jo-Ellen Tiberi. Plus, fan favorite Dolores Catania will be popping up in the inaugural season of “RHORI.”
Catania, 55, recently appeared as a guest on fellow Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, and she said she thinks McGraw will be the “breakout star” of the first season.
“Liz is the cannabis queen. She is the realest person you’ll ever meet. That’s who Liz is,” Catania gushed. “A very good friend to me. Somebody on the cast tried to say something that I absolutely did not say, because I don’t repeat things. Liz knows me, not my style.”
While Bravo has yet to announce a specific premiere date, the network has said that the new franchise will arrive in 2026.
