Bravo has multiple new shows planned for 2026, including “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” one of the most anticipated. Now, Ashley Iaconetti, one of the show’s stars, is comparing her experience on “The Bachelor” to her latest reality tv gig.
Iaconetti spoke to US Weekly in January 2026 about her experience filming “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.” She said, “I felt like a tiny fish here. This experience has certainly been a ton different than The Bachelor. That’s about all I can say. It was interesting, and I’m excited for it to air.”
Bravo Announced the “Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ Cast in 2025
GettyPer Deadline, Bravo first announced plans for “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” in May 2025. Filming then took place during the summer months, and the network announced the cast at BravoCon in November.
In additon to the former “Bachelor” star Iaconetti, the show will feature Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi. “Real Housewives of New Jersey” fan favorite Dolores Catania will also appear as a friend of the show.
Along with the cast announcement, the network also unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming series at BravoCon. So far, there is no announced premiere date. Catania recently spoke to Page Six and revealed the advice she gave the cast.
According to her, “I explained to them, I said, ‘Just be yourself, because it’s yourself that got you to this position.’ I also said to stay away from social media. ‘There will be criticism no matter what, and don’t look for the negativity. It’s not gonna find you; you have to look for it.'”
Andy Cohen also previously teased the series. He said to Page Six in May 2025, “The cast is incredible. They are very Italian. Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it’s an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections. I think it’s really going to surprise people.”
Bravo has yet to confirm the premiere date for “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.”
Ashley Iaconetti is a Doting Mom of 2
“The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” will be a different experience for Iaconetti. While it’s unclear what her storyline on the show will be, fans can expect to see a bit of her home life. She married Jared Haibon in 2019 after previously meeting him on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
The couple has two children, with their second being born in July 2024. They told PEOPLE, “Say hello to Hayden Cruise Haibon. He was born at 2:29 p.m. on July 22, 2024, and weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
