Dolores Catania opened up about the cast of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” and shared details on her lookalike, Liz McGraw. In March 2026, the veteran Bravo TV personality appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” and addressed her likeness to network newcomer McGraw.
“She is my doppelganger,” Catania told host Andy Cohen after he asked if they went to the same plastic surgeon.
“We looked alike before that,” Catania added. “Yes. Dr. Karolak and Dr. Apa did our teeth. So Dr. Karolak did our face, and Apa did our teeth. So, we look alike, but we did before.“
Of McGraw, the longtime Bravo star added. “She’s fiercely loyal. Like fierce. But she’s savage when she gets mad. …You don’t want to cross her. And I like that she’s tough.”
In addition to Catania and McGraw, “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island” features Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMarie, Ashley Iaconetti, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, per Bravo.com.
Catania Shared Tidbits on the Other RHORI Cast Members
Ahead of the show’s April 2 premiere, Catania was also asked about the rest of the RHORI cast.
She described Carmody as “so funny” and “tough too.” “She reminds me a little bit of somebody we know,” Catania said, to which Cohen agreed she reminded him of Teresa Giudice. “There’s some Alicia isms,” Catania added.
Catania also said that Iaconetti, who previously appeared on “The Bachelor” franchise is “so kind”—and maybe too much so. “I don’t know if she’s cut out for the world around [her],” Catania said. “Like, the world is tough, and Ashley cries a lot. She’s so good. Good girl.”
As for Swanson, Catania said, “Oh, I like Kelsey. Listen, Kelsey’s honest. She’s like, ‘I’m here. This is what I do. I got a boyfriend. He’s older. I like his money…. I got a couple.’ And she’s like, ‘If you don’t like it, I don’t really care…. I like my sugar daddy.’”
Catania also said that DiMarie, who is Swanson’s doppelganger, is in everyone’s business. “Rosie’s nosy,” she said.
Catania also shared a teaser about Pontarelli and hinted at some drama with the incoming cast member. “Good friend,” she said. “I’m close with Rulla. I like Rulla. She’s handled a lot of things with grace. I want to see how everybody is going to take to her. Are they going to feel sorry? Are they going to be mad? I want to see I’m Team Rulla. But she handles things a lot different than we do in New Jersey.”
Catania noted that Tiberi could end up being the “villain” of the new Bravo franchise. “But I think we’re going to love her as the villain. We’re not going to hate the villain that she is. We’re going to still love her,” she teased.
Liz McGraw Brought Dolores Catania to RHORI
BravoCatania is already known as a cast member of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” She was wooed to join RHORI as a “friend of” by her friend, McGraw.
“Liz has been asking me for a few years to come to Rhode Island,” Catania told Us Weekly in an interview. “My heart is [in New Jersey], but you can find me every summer in Rhode Island for the rest of my life.”
The other RHORI stars were happy to have the veteran Housewife on their cast.
“I think Dolores [is] like a mama bear,” Tiberi told the outlet. “She was just so kind and smart and caring. So it really was nice. It was a little cheat sheet to help us along the way.”
