Golden Buzzer Moment on ‘America’s Got Talent’ 2025
Season 20 of “America’s Got Talent” kicked off for Mama Duke with the female rapper taking on an original song while wearing a little monster sweater. To be honest, many people were doubting her abilities when seeing her hit the stage.
However, she started performing her “Feels So Good To Be You” song, and the audience and judges fell in love. She got four yes votes and moved on to the Quarterfinals.
During the Quarterfinals, she performed another original song called “The Mama Duke Show.” It was a big win for Mama Duke, as Mel B fell in love with the performance and hit the Golden Buzzer for her, which sent her directly to the “America’s Got Talent” season 20 Finals.
While Mama Duke is in the “AGT” finale, she has yet to have America cast any votes for her because of that Golden Buzzer. Will they turn up for her after her “America’s Got Talent” season 20 finale performance?
Mama Duke Performance on ‘AGT’ 2025 Finale
Getting some backstory from Mama Duke before her performance, she said she grew up and never fit in. She said sometimes she needs that extra permission to be who she is.
Getting that Golden Buzzer from Mel B was a full-circle moment for her. She is giving us an original song tonight, which she has written and rewritten 100 times.
To be honest, I was a huge fan after the audition. However, her Quarterfinals didn’t win me over that much. Well, Mama Duke is back for me.
This was a very good song and catchy. I liked the sound of it, and she was having fun with it, which I enjoy.
For the judges, Mel B said she could literally listen to her all day long. Howie Mandel said she is incredibly authentic and likable. Sofia Vergara said she loves that she is so unique. Simon Cowell said he really likes her a lot and he has a lot of respect for her.
