Spice Girl, 50, Shares Throwback Bikini Pic Along with Exciting Music Update

Along with finding fame with the Spice Girls, Mel B has delighted fans as a competitor on “Dancing with the Stars” and a judge on “America’s Got Talent.” Along the line, the popular singer also released her debut solo album, “Hot.”

While the release came out in October 2000, the pop star has just posted an exciting update about the album and, at the same time, included a throwback pic of herself in a bikini that some music-lovers might recognize.

Mel B took to Instagram on Friday, April 10, to post a photo of herself posing outside in the sun and standing under a showerhead while wearing a black-and-white bikini. In the shot, she has her head turned up, and she smiles as water splashes down on her face. The star’s fans may remember that this pic was used for the cover image of her “Hot” album.

In the caption, the singer wrote, “its only just over a week untill my limited edition leopard print HOT vinyl is in stores!!! cant wait for you all to get your hands on itttt sooo exciteddd 🐆🔥”

The post prompted plenty of comments from Mel B’s followers, with one person writing, “The most UNDERRATED album ever!”

“Welp. Take my money! I’m ready,” another fan added.

A third social media user wrote “What a jewel! Scary foreva! 😍✌🏾”

Someone else left a comment, saying, “Girl we need another solo album❤️”


Mel B’s ‘Hot’ Is Being Released on Vinyl

As Mel B mentioned in her Instagram post, her debut solo album, “Hot,” will be available on Record Store Day 2026, which takes place on Saturday, April 18. In fact, this is the first time it’s being released on vinyl.

“A fusion of R&B and pop, the album features collaborations with producers including Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Rodney Jerkins and Fred Jerkins III,” the Record Store Day website explains. “This limited-edition picture disc — in trademark leopard print — is a must-have item for fans of Melanie and the Spice Girls alike.”

“Originally released in 2000, ‘Hot’ includes singles ‘Tell Me,’ ‘Feels So Good,’ ‘Lullaby’ and the UK chart-topping hit ‘I Want You Back’ featuring Missy Elliott,” the website also notes.
