Jelly Roll Stuns WrestleMania Crowd With Wild In-Ring Moment: WATCH

Jelly Roll delivered one of the most talked-about moments of WrestleMania 42—and proved he’s more than ready for the spotlight outside of music.

During the main event featuring Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, the country star made a surprise appearance that instantly electrified the crowd.

Aligning himself with Rhodes, the first-ever “Artist in Residence” for Season 23 of “American Idol” didn’t waste any time getting involved—going straight after Pat McAfee, who was backing Orton.

All About the Must See Moment

In a moment that had fans on their feet, McAfee was positioned on top of the announcer’s table before Jelly Roll launched himself from a nearby platform, delivering a dramatic elbow drop that sent both men crashing through the table.

The impact shattered it completely, with debris flying as the crowd erupted.

McAfee was later wheeled out on a stretcher—still playing to the crowd as he left—adding to the spectacle of the already chaotic match.

While the in-ring drama continued, the surprise cameo quickly became a highlight of the night.

Fans flooded social media with reactions, many stunned to see Jelly Roll take on such a physical role.

Others couldn’t help but point out how much the artist has transformed in recent years.

Jelly Roll’s Transformation

That transformation has been a major part of his journey.

Jelly Roll has been open about his decision to focus on his health, sharing that the turning point came as he approached a milestone birthday.

“It was right around my 39th birthday that I started really considering taking the step to try to make a major change in my life,” he previously said in December 2025. “I thought about it around my birthday because I knew my next one was 40, and I was like, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever met a 500-lb 40-year-old.’”

Since then, he’s lost an incredible amount of weight—reportedly around 300 pounds—while continuing to grow his career.

WWE star Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin even shared that a previous in-ring experience may have helped spark that change, per People.

Reflecting on a past match, he recalled Jelly Roll realizing he wanted to improve his health after a physically demanding moment in the ring.

Still, Mizanin made it clear the credit ultimately belongs to Jelly Roll himself. “He did do blood, sweat and tears,” he said.

Now, moments like WrestleMania show just how far he’s come—not just physically, but in confidence and presence.

Whether he’s performing on stage or stepping into the ring, Jelly Roll continues to surprise audiences in the best way.
