Disney Night on “American Idol” season 24 takes place this week. However, the Top 9 will become the Top 7 on “American Idol” 2026 tonight. Top 11 Performances on ‘American Idol’ 2026
Last week on “American Idol” season 24, the Top 11 took on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night. After being mentored by Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, the contestants took to the stage to perform some classic songs by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
This meant we had some pretty amazing performances along the way. Carrie Underwood even asked if it could be Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night every week. It can’t, but it definitely was a night of good performances.
However, it all had to come to an end. It was time for Ryan to take the stage with the Top 11. Two more artists would be eliminated when things were said and done. This one surprised me, as I had a thought of who it would be, but then it didn’t go that way at all.
When Ryan delivered the results, it came down to Rae, Kyndal Inskeep, and Philmon Lee waiting for their results. In a shocker, Kyndal was safe, meaning Rae and Philmon were sent home. Both are great singers, but that’s what happens as we move further into the competition.
Who Makes the Top 7 on ‘American Idol’
For tonight, the Top 9 will perform live on the show. They will be joined by special mentor and guest judge for Disney Night, Jennifer Hudson. Of course, the singers will be performing hit Disney songs as the night goes on.
After the performances are complete, the Top 9 will become the Top 7. Yes, another two singers will be eliminated tonight on “American Idol” season 24. Which two will it be?
To be honest. Kyndal started the season as one of my faves. I mean, that performance of her original song written for her mom was amazing. She’s been lacking ever since. I think her journey comes to an end tonight.
From there, I also think the journey ends for Lucas Leon. I feel the young girls are voting for him. I don’t think he’s doing anything special each week, so I think his journey comes to an end tonight also.
