Keith Urban showed no signs of marital woes in his last social media post with Nicole Kidman before their split.
In May, the “American Idol” judge shared photos and videos on Instagram with the “Babygirl” actress, both all smiles and looking happy together.
In the post, Urban celebrated an honor he received at the ACM Awards with Kidman proudly by his side.
A video montage captured Urban and Kidman smiling and cozying up in the back of a car, with the singer showing off his Triple Crown Award.
A photo also showed Kidman and Urban sitting next to Alan Jackson and his wife, Denise, at the awards show, with the actress resting her hand on the singer’s lap.
“TRIPLE CROWN !!! it was a surreal feeling and truly humbling honor to be recognized at the @acmawards last night, and a triple-sized, massive thank you to @megmoroney, @chrisstapleton, and @brothersosborne for your insanely inspired performances last night during the show. I LOVED every second of it !!!” Urban captioned the post.
Keith Urban’s Circle of Friends Saw the Split Coming
While Urban and Kidman showed no signs of marital woes, the singer’s closest friends allegedly saw the breakup coming. A source told PEOPLE that it “really hasn’t been a secret” that Urban and Kidman have “been living separately for a while now.”
“People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable,” the insider told the outlet.
On Monday, TMZ reported that Kidman and Urban have called it quits after 19 years of marriage. The outlet added that the actress has been caring for their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
The source further claimed that Urban was the one who initiated the split, and that Kidman was “trying to save things.”
Urban is said to have moved out of their family home and is now living in his own Nashville residence.

“That is when I went, ‘This is the man I hope I get to marry,'” Kidman later told PEOPLE. “I believed by that point he was the love of my life.”
The two got engaged in May 2006 and tied the knot the following month. In October 2006, Kidman staged an intervention for Urban’s alcohol addiction. The singer checked into rehab, but had relapsed in January 2007. At the time, Kidman had been supportive of her husband.
By November, the couple moved to Nashville, where they started a happy family life. Kidman and Urban welcomed their first child in July 2008 and their second child in December 2010.
The following years appeared to be smooth-sailing for the couple, not until the news of their split in September 29, 2025.
