“American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson continues to show her star power, with tickets to her March 14 RodeoHouston show selling out within the first 30 minutes. RodeoHouston is a massive annual event that combines professional rodeo competitions with concerts featuring some of the music industry’s biggest acts.
Interestingly, Clarkson is one of only four women set to take the stage between March 2 and 22, with three of the four artists matching her rapid sellout success.
Kelly Clarkson Tickets Sell Out at Rapid Speed for Houston Rodeo
GettyKelly Clarkson is one of several performers slated for this year’s RodeoHouston, but fans who didn’t secure tickets early may have to pay more than expected, as her show, slated for March 14, along with six other artists, sold out within the first 30 minutes of sale opening.
According to MSN, tickets went on sale on Jan. 15, and among the other six acts that sold out just as fast as Clarkson’s show were country singers Megan Moroney and Lainey Wilson. Additionally, Houston native Forrest Frank and rock band Creed also sold out within the first half hour.
Among those also set to perform are country icons Chris Stapleton and Tim McGraw, and it came as no surprise that their tickets saw lightning-fast sellouts.
Fans may still be able to secure tickets, but they won’t be exactly cheap. Resale listings for Clarkson’s show reveal upper-bowl seats priced well over $100.
In addition to these acts, other standout names set to perform include Riley Green, J Balvin, Rascal Flatts, Lizzo, Luke Bryan, and Cody Johnson, each taking the stage on a different day.
Clarkson’s Talk Show to End This Season: Report
GettyAccording to a new report from Page Six, Clarkson may be ending her daytime talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” after this season.
An insider for the outlet shared that her exit is “definite,” while a second source suggested that “it’s likely that [the show] will not go on.” They added, “[Her show] is a lot to put on, and looking at the landscape across daytime television, it’s not sustainable anymore.”
Since its debut on September 9, 2019, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” has become a fan-favorite, with Clarkson’s “Kellyoke” covers making the daytime talk show stand out from others.
According to Page Six, in May 2025, the “Stronger” songstress opened up about how demanding her talk show workload had become. While performing at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, she told the audience about her lack of concerts: “We haven’t done a show in a while, ’cause I have a talk show. It’s like a whole other job.”
