“American Idol” season 10 winner Scotty McCreery is already getting fans into the holiday spirit with his new cozy rendition of the Christmas classic, “White Christmas.” With his signature warm vocals, McCreery gives the festive tune a fun country twist.
After sharing on Instagram that his Christmas song was finally available to stream, fans flooded the comments with praise for McCreery’s rendition. They were excited to kick off the holiday season early.
Scotty McCreery Gets Festive With Country Cover of ‘White Christmas’
GettySeason 10 “American Idol” winner and country star Scotty McCreery is ready to spread holiday cheer after releasing his warm rendition of the Christmas classic, “White Christmas.” McCreery released the song on Oct. 24, sharing a video of himself singing the whimsical tune in the recording studio on Instagram.
“It’s that time of year again… I’m starting to dream of a White Christmas. My version of “White Christmas” is out everywhere now! Listen now at the link in my bio,” he captioned his post.
Fans can also check out the lyric video for McCreery’s new song, which features the singer and his band performing “White Christmas” together in the studio.
It was a delight for longtime fans to hear him sing a holiday classic. McCreery released a Christmas album in 2012, which featured renditions of classic holiday hits “Let It Snow,” “Jingle Bells,” “First Noel,” and “O Holy Night.” The album also included two original Christmas songs, “Christmas in Heaven” and “Christmas Comin’ Round Again.”
Fans on Instagram commented with love for McCreery’s cover and admired how he gave the song his own country spin.

McCreery Celebrates the Holidays With a New Family Member

The couple shared photos from the hospital of their newest family addition, along with snaps of their first son, Merrick Avery McCreery, holding his little brother.
“Oliver Cooke McCreery joined our family on September 18th. Can’t imagine life without him, we love him so berry much!!” The “American Idol” winner captioned his photos.
The couple first announced the news that they were expecting a second child in May, sharing a carousel of photos on Instagram. In the pictures, they wore matching white t-shirts and blue jeans, while their son, Merrick, sat between them in a blue sweater that read “Big Brother.”
