“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest celebrated his younger sister, Meredith Seacrest, over the weekend with a loving post that gave a glimpse into their relationship. It also gave fans a rare look at Ryan as a child.

Ryan made the post on Instagram on Saturday, October 26, in honor of Meredith’s 45th birthday. The post contained two beautiful photos of the brother and sister. The first picture shows Ryan lovingly looking into his little sister’s face when she was just a newborn. The second is a recent happy photo of the siblings smiling into the camera for a selfie. In the caption, Ryan shared his thoughts, writing, “From then to now, so grateful for every memory with you. Happy birthday, @mmseacrest!”
Ryan’s fans loved seeing the photos and responded to the post with love and happy-birthday wishes. “Happy Birthday to your Beautiful Sister!” a comment reads. “To cute as always! That’s why you are so close! Happy Birthday Meredith!! “ another fan shared.

Ryan and Meredith share a close bond, and she has featured on his social media account before. On August 2, he posted a photo on Instagram that included himself, Meredith and his niece, Flora. He captioned the image with a sweet message, writing, “My happy place looks a lot like this.”
Ryan is a very proud uncle, and his niece has also featured on his account multiple times. The pair have even collaborated on a children’s book, along with his sister, Meredith. On August 9, 2024, Ryan shared their venture on Instagram, showing the three of them posing for a photo.
“Growing up, my sister Meredith and I constantly used our imaginations to dream big and travel far. Fast forward a few decades, we’ve written a picture book about using imagination to propel you into the future of your dreams,” he wrote in the caption.
Ryan also celebrated Meredith on National Siblings Day. On April 10, he posted an adorable photo on Instagram of them taken from their childhood. “Couldn’t ask for a better sister (or a better throwback photo to embarrass her with today). Happy #NationalSiblingsDay, @mmseacrest!” he wrote in the caption.
