“Big Brother” season 27 winner Ashley Hollis is setting the record straight about where she stands with one of her former closest allies. During a recent live Q&A, the reality TV star revealed she is no longer friends with finalist Morgan Pope, and confirmed she blocked her on social media to shut out what she called ongoing negative energy after the season wrapped.
Post-Finale Fallout
During a recent live Q&A, Hollis was asked about the friendship between her and Morgan since the show wrapped. Hollis set the record straight on where they stand.
The “Big Brother” 27 winner said, “Me and Morgan are not friends. I don’t have any intention of being friends.”
While Ashley went on to say that she doesn’t harbor any ill will toward Morgan, she “blocked” her ex-co-star on social media to avoid seeing her content.
She went on to explain, “I don’t hate her; I don’t despise her. There is no like true beef. …What I will say, which is public knowledge, is that she has made many videos, I’ve seen them, against my will, which is why I’m sorry, I blocked her.”
Hollis added, “I didn’t block her because I hate her. I didn’t block her because I’m pissed at her, nothing like that. I blocked her simply because I was sick of seeing her [stuff].”
The former lawyer turned content creator explained that Morgan kept making posts claiming she was “the best player” of the season and Vince Panaro should’ve won instead of Ashley. Vince finished as the season 27 runner-up, with Morgan coming in third place.
Ashley Is Beyond the ‘Big Brother’ Game
It sounds like Ashley is ready to move past the drama and just live her life. She said, “I am beyond the game.”
The BB27 winner added, “I’m very grateful for the Big Brother platform, and I plan to stay active, and I plan to do recaps next season, like I love Big Brother, I love the Big Brother community, but at the same time, I’m like living in my own little world.”
It’s all positive vibes for Hollis, who said, “I am just a happy-go-lucky person, and I don’t want any negative energy. Any negative energy or negative vibes around me, I don’t want it.”
Ashley said other things took place behind the scenes between her and Morgan. This made her “not a fan” of Pope anymore. She also accused Morgan of having a “huge” ego, adding, “Why would I care to be friends with someone like that, on top of all the things I already know about this person that I’m not a fan of?”
In one final statement, Ashley said, “It’s over. The game is over. It’s done, and I just don’t care, I don’t care, and yeah, I just want to live my happy life.”
