‘Big Brother’ Star Shares His Amazing Fitness Journey on Social Media

“Big Brother” and “Amazing Race” star Matt Turner recently shared his fitness journey on X (fka Twitter), showing off an amazing transformation and revealing what’s possible with hard work and dedication.

Matt Turner’s Fitness Journey

Turner originally posted to X on October 9, 2025 to share that he had embarked on a fitness journey after his time on “The Amazing Race” season 38. Turner and his wife, Megan Belmonte, were eliminated in week three after getting lost.

The “Big Brother” third-place finisher wrote that his “Amazing Race” elimination “was a wake up call” to prioritize health. According to Turner, he weighed almost 200 lbs when he competed on “The Amazing Race.” Four months later, he’s down to 164 lbs.

In both photos Turner has posted of his weight loss journey, he’s shown off visible abs and a slim face, even flexing in one photo to display his meaty bicep. He’s clearly very proud of his progress and assures fans his journey will continue on, writing, “Onto month 5.”

Turner’s photos show just what’s possible when someone commits to a new lifestyle, and his posts serve as inspiration for anyone wanting to make the same change in their life.

Turner came on the scene when he was cast on “Big Brother” season 24. One of the youngest competitors in the house, Turner made a name for himself when he stood up for Taylor Hale, who was being bullied by many of the other houseguests.

From there, Turner proved himself to be a formidable competition threat who could make strong alliances, ultimately securing himself a spot in the final three. When he lost the final Head of Household competition to Monte Taylor, Turner found himself walking out the doors and into his exit interview with host Julie Chen.

From there, Turner and his wife competed on “The Amazing Race.” Although Turner lost both shows, his kind heart make him a delight to watch on reality TV. There are many shows today that cast reality TV stars, such as “The Challenge” on MTV and “The Traitors” on Peacock, so it’s possible we’ll see Turner again in the future.

Turner and Belmonte got engaged one month after “Big Brother” 24 finished filming, according to Us Weekly. The two met in college and got married in October 2024.
