“Big Brother” winner Taylor Hale has her eye on several Season 28 houseguests who could make it all the way to finale night, but one player stands above the rest.
During an appearance on the “Reality Hangover” podcast, Hale broke down the current state of “Big Brother 28,” including the shifting alliances, returning veterans and players she believes have positioned themselves to win. Hale, who won “Big Brother 24,” ultimately named Kamu as her current frontrunner, with one major condition.
“If Kamu survives the week, I’m giving it to Kamu,” Hale said when asked to name her favorites to win. She also pointed to Taylor and Mallory as two other houseguests with legitimate paths to victory.
Taylor Hale Thinks Kamu Is a Major ‘Big Brother 28’ Threat
Hale’s prediction comes as Kamu finds himself in serious danger. Rick Devens used his Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee, putting Kamu on the block and giving the house an opportunity to eliminate one of the season’s strongest competitors.
While Hale praised Kamu’s abilities, she argued that those same strengths should make his fellow houseguests wary of keeping him around.
The former winner explained that Kamu’s threat level extends far beyond competitions. After meeting him before the season, Hale immediately noticed his natural ability to connect with people. She described him as having a “gravitational pull” and a warm energy that could make him particularly dangerous in a game built around relationships.
Hale was even more impressed by how Kamu has responded to adversity. She noted that he quickly began campaigning after hitting the block and has demonstrated an ability to repair damaged relationships.
“When he is playing from the bottom, [he] is one of the scariest ‘Big Brother’ players I have ever seen,” Hale said. She added that Kamu can make other players comfortable while convincing them that keeping him benefits their games.
That combination has Hale convinced that the house may not get another opportunity this good.
If Kamu survives either through the Blockbuster competition or the eviction vote, Hale made a bold prediction: “He is going to win this season of ‘Big Brother.’”
CBSTaylor Hale Sees Two Other Potential Winners
Kamu isn’t Hale’s only contender. She believes Taylor has “a really good shot” because of her current position in the house. Hale also named Mallory, calling attention to the underdog’s continued fight to stay alive in the game.
When it came to entertainment rather than win potential, Hale had a slightly different list. She named Taylor, Melody and Mallory among her favorites still competing, while giving Haley an honorable mention. Hale particularly praised Melody’s Diary Room appearances, calling her “hilarious.”
With alliances continuing to fracture, Hale is enjoying the increasingly unpredictable game. Earlier in the conversation, she explained that she wants to see the new players rally against the veterans and is encouraged that houseguests have begun considering how they will navigate the game once those bigger targets disappear.
For Kamu, however, surviving the immediate danger could change everything. If Hale’s read proves correct, the houseguests may look back at this eviction as the moment they had their best chance to remove the eventual winner.
