Andy Cohen said his upcoming Super Bowl commercial for Nerds candy is something he can finally cross off his list. Speaking with USA Today ahead of the feb. 8 Super Bowl LX match-up between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, the Bravo TV host admitted that his career has been a “really fun ride” and has given him opportunities he never dreamed of.
“I’ve gotten to do incredible things. To go places and do things I never thought I’d be able to do or see,” Cohen, 57, said. “I got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And I have to say, being in a Super Bowl ad is something I’m crossing off my bucket list and can say that I was a part of.”
Cohen didn’t reveal exactly how his “taste buds”-themed ad came to be. He told Billboard, “Most of what I do in my career is pretty organic, and this was super organic.”
Andy Cohen Said He’ll Watch His Super Bowl Ad ‘Old School’ With His Kids
Cohen, who was invited to attend the Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, revealed that he plans to stay home in New York City to watch the big game with his kids, Ben, 6, and Lucy, 3, as well as friends they’ve invited for their annual Super Bowl party.
He also revealed that his kids will see the ad for the first time on TV. “I’m going to be comfortably home, watching the ad in the second quarter, with the kids,” he shared. “They’re so excited. They haven’t seen it yet. We’re going to wait until it airs on TV, old-school style, and serve Nerds to all my guests.”
Cohen previously told People magazine that his son “can’t believe” he’s starring in a Super Bowl ad. “I was invited to the game, and I was like, there’s no way that I can go to the game and not have this party and be with Ben when we watch the ad,” the dad of two shared.
Andy Cohen Said He’s Happy To Be Part of a Cultural Moment
Cohen appears to be humbled by the honor of being asked to appear in a Super Bowl commercial. In an interview with Variety, he revealed that he has hosted an annual party for “as long as [he] can remember,” but that the 2026 celebration will be next level.
“Being part of a cultural moment is a very big deal to me and something that is not lost on me,” the Bravo producer said.
