Hayden Panettiere Last Posted on Instagram Two Weeks Ago
On Sunday evening, fans were absolutely devastated to learn that Hayden Panettiere had passed away. Many sped directly to her social media channels to leave kind words and see what the “Heroes” star had posted in her final days.
Though it’d been a few weeks since her last post, it seemed to be a positive one.
“Good times and good friends @randallslavin ✨” the late actress captioned her last Instagram post. Randall Slavin is a well-known photographer.
In the image, Hayden Panettiere looks incredibly joyful. She smiles and winks at the camera, playfully flicking her tongue. She leans on her friend while he tosses his arm around her. There didn’t seem to be any feelings of malice, pain, or any other sort of negative emotion present in the photo.
Right away, fans flooded the comments to leave condolences and hopes that the actress can rest in peace.
“The good ones die young. Rip beautiful girl! 🖤🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️” one fan wrote.
“Rest easy ❤︎ I hope you find peace,” another added.
“36 is too young to go. Fly with the angels and rest in peace,” someone else chimed in.
“Rest in peace Hayden. I’m in such shock 😓 💔” another fan commented.
The Actress Bravely Opened Up About Difficult Emotions in a Previous Interview
TMZ initially broke the news that the 36-year-old actress passed away earlier today. They wrote that her “on-again, off-again” partner Brian Hickerson “flew from Los Angeles to the south Saturday.” The outlet noted that the family is aware of the tragic situation and feels saddened by the news.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” the actress’s representative publicly stated.
In May, Hayden Panettiere appeared on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast to talk about painful chapters of her life.
“I worked so hard to create this incredible life and career and I burnt it all to the ground. Don’t believe what you see in a picture. There’s so much more going on. So much more,” she emotionally shared in the teaser for the podcast episode, wiping away tears.
“We talk about childhood wounds, public scrutiny, motherhood, healing, and the emotional cost of spending your life performing for everyone else,” Jay Shetty shared in the description. “This episode is honest, emotional, and incredibly powerful. If you’ve ever felt pressure to hold it all together while silently struggling inside… this conversation will stay with you.”
Our hearts go out to the family during this devastating time.
