Paige DeSorbo Updates Fans on Craig Conover & Joe D’Ameilio Without Ever Saying Their Names

Paige DeSorbo is offering new insight into her love without naming names. During the February 20 episode of her podcast “Giggly Squad,” the “Summer House” alum spoke candidly about dating, privacy, and her preference for a “quiet” partner.

While chatting with co-host Hannah Berner about navigating relationships in the age of social media, the former Bravo star revealed a new detail about her current romance.

“I think this is the first time in my life I’ve ever dated someone Italian,” DeSorbo said.

The comment comes more than a year after her split from “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover and amid ongoing speculation linking her to sports agent Joe D’Amelio. Although DeSorbo did not name anyone, fans have spotted her with D’Amelio multiple times.

DeSorbo also made it clear that she plans to keep this relationship largely offline.

“I may never post a man ever again,” she said, explaining that she has become more protective of her personal life.

DeSorbo, who previously shared much of her romantic life on “Summer House” and “Southern Charm,” said public scrutiny played a role in her decision to stay quiet this time around.

“And, obviously, there’s so many reasons why I never talk about dating a man or, like, being with a man,” she said on “Giggly Squad.” “Even [on] Valentine’s Day, people were like, ‘Obviously you’re in a man’s bedroom because it has no artwork. The bed’s unmade. Like what’s going on here? Is that a jail cell?’ There’s so many different reasons why.”

She continued, “One, I feel like because I was like had such public relationships and like the court of public opinion is not healthy. But two is because I’m like, ‘What the hell does he have to do with my personality?’”

Her comments mark one of the clearest acknowledgments yet that she is intentionally keeping her new relationship out of the spotlight following her highly publicized breakup with Conover.

Earlier this month, DeSorbo appeared to hint again at her preference for a low-key partner. On the February 10 episode of “Giggly Squad,” she and Berner discussed why couples should not have a “swag gap,” with Berner noting that “one person shouldn’t be way cooler than the other.”

“You have to find a quiet, quiet man. No, truly. That was my only requirement. I was like, ‘Does he shut the (expletive) up?’” DeSorbo said.

After Berner shared that she “loved a shy man for a while,” DeSorbo confirmed, “I’m in it right now.”

“I love it,” she added. “Like, I haven’t heard from him in three days. Is he still in the room? I love it. It’s the best.”

“Shout out to quiet men. It’s security when a man’s quiet,” Berner concluded.

Around the same time, D’Amelio left a rare public comment on one of DeSorbo’s Instagram posts, writing, “Tuff,” after she shared a slideshow that some fans interpreted as subtle shade toward her ex.

In January, DeSorbo also referenced spending time with both Berner’s husband, Des Bishop, and her own partner without naming him directly.

“Des was around, Joe was around, and they were just, like, not speaking,” DeSorbo said. “I was, like, ‘I’m performing with my friend right now.’”
