Former Bravo Star Launches Real Estate Expansion With $2 Billion in Inventory

Ryan Serhant is bringing his real estate business to the West Coast, launching his brokerage in California with about $2 billion in inventory.

The former “Million Dollar Listing New York” star, who now appears on “Owning Manhattan,” is expanding SERHANT. into several major markets, including Beverly Hills, Malibu, San Francisco, Orange County, San Diego, Palo Alto, Mill Valley, and Lake Tahoe, according to the New York Post.

The expansion is the latest step for the former Bravo star, who started the company in 2020 and has since grown it into a national brand.

Ryan Serhant Expands Brokerage to California With $2 Billion in Listings

The California debut includes approximately $2 billion in listings, with about $1 billion tied to Los Angeles properties alone. The launch also brings in 65 brokers and 15 founding brokers who collectively sold more than $2 billion in real estate over the past year.

Among the featured listings is Palazzo di Amore, a Beverly Hills estate priced at $195 million. The property includes a vineyard, a temperature-controlled wine cellar with a tasting room, a 5,000-square-foot main suite, and a 24-car garage.

Serhant addressed the timing of the expansion, noting that the California market still presents opportunity.

“California is one of the biggest economies in the United States — and the world,” Serhant said. “When so many people move out, it creates greater opportunity for new people and companies to move in.”

Serhant also reflected on his approach to business growth.

“I got into real estate in 2008 on the very day that other real estate agents got out — when Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy,” he said.

He added, “It was the middle of COVID in New York, when everyone was leaving. At the time, people thought that ‘if you bet on New York, you are an idiot.’”

The Former ‘Million Dollar Listing New York’ Star Builds National Brand

Serhant’s company has grown steadily since its launch. The brokerage generated $7.1 billion in sales volume in 2025 and now operates in 16 states with more than 2,000 agents.

The company has expanded without acquiring other firms or franchising, building its footprint independently across the country.

Serhant, who gained recognition on “Million Dollar Listing New York,” has continued to build his profile through real estate, media appearances, and his Netflix series “Owning Manhattan.”

He also reflected on his personal and professional milestones in a December 2025 Instagram post.

“Not sure how we’re going to top 2025…should I just retire?” Serhant wrote alongside a video recap of the year.

His wife, Emilia Serhant, responded in the comments, writing, “To an even bigger better year!!!”

In an interview with Realtor.com, Serhant shared insight into balancing work and family life.

“I try not to be looking at my phone when I’m with my daughter, because a 6-year-old will just repeat what she sees,” he said. “If her parents are on their phones all the time, then that’s what they’re gonna do, so I really try.”

  1. “Expanding” *into* California? Is that a joke? When EVEN those individuals with *serious money* are leaving in the droves, and can’t get out of California fast enough? Everything about California has been ruined. It’s heartbreaking . The war on normal working people. THE TAXES, alone, for the uber rich? THE CRIME? The regulations? The homelessness EVERYWHERE? The breakin targeting of luxury homes? I’m not sure what world Ryan and his “team” are living in.
I know the Dems have already ruined NYC, but pivoting to California? Ah, good luck with that!
