Ally Lewber Shares Exciting Life Update
Getty“Vanderpump Rules” alum Ally Lewber rang in the new year with a major move. According to Taste of Reality, Lewber shared on Instagram Stories that she was officially moved out of Los Angeles and is now a resident of Charleston, South Carolina.
Her first photo included a smiling mirror selfie, which she captioned, “so little life update … i moved! L.A. will always feel like home to me but I’m excited for this new chapter to begin!”
In a second Instagram Story, Lewber revealed that she made it to Charleston, sharing a photo of her two cats. “A crazy day but we made it,” she captioned the image while also tagging her location.
Fans have grown increasingly curious over the past few months, especially after an August report from OK! magazine claimed that Lewber filmed scenes for the “Southern Charm” spinoff, “Southern Hospitality.” The report fueled speculation that she was preparing to make the move to Charleston.
That same month, she further fueled rumors that she might be joining the spinoff after sharing photos on Instagram hanging out with the show’s stars, including Maddie Reese and her boyfriend, Joe Bradley. A second post also showed Lewber performing on stage alongside Reese and Lake Rucker dressed in matching tracksuits resembling the cast of “The Cheetah Girls.”
Lewber Detailed Feeling “Pushed” out of Los Angeles
GettyWhile appearing on Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan’s “Disrespectfully” podcast in September 2025, Lewber shared that she felt compelled to leave Los Angeles, especially after revealing that her car was stolen from her garage.
“I have not moved,” Lewber shared. “I think I’m moving. Honestly, guys, I just have been feeling called, pushed, actually out of L.A.”
After recounting the frightening car theft, Lewber also revealed that it happened around the same time her “Starstruck with Ally Lewber” podcast was canceled. These setbacks made her question whether it was time for a major change, possibly even a big move out of L.A. She told the host that it was then that she spent a month in Charleston with family and friends.
“I’m highly considering [moving there],” she shared. “I have family there, I have friends there. I don’t want people to think I hate L.A., it’s just I need to change. I’ve been feeling numb here, honestly.”
In fact, she even admitted that while she was down there, she filmed a scene for “Southern Hospitality.”
“I only filmed one group scene, so I wasn’t much involved with it,” Lewber revealed.
Now that she’s made the permanent move to Charleston, will fans be seeing more of her on the show?
