Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC” follows a group of Gen Z children of “Real Housewives” stars and their friends as they navigate careers and relationships while living in New York City. One of the standout cast members is former RHOA star Kim Zolciak’s daughter, Ariana Biermann, who entered the first season moving in with her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy.
Viewers learned more about McLeroy on the show, including that he’s the son of Zaxby’s founder Zach McLeroy. Despite his wealthy family background, fans noted his down-to-earth and humble demeanor. Many were surprised when he and Biermann split in late 2025, and now, McLeroy is sharing a life update as he looks ahead to the new year.
Hudson McLeroy Shares Life Update in New Year Post
Hudson McLeroy is moving forward with optimism in the new year following his split from Ariana Biermann. The “Next Gen NYC” star took to Instagram to reflect on 2025, a milestone year both personally and professionally, as his Bravo journey unfolded alongside the rest of the cast.
“2025, I never thought you’d teach me what you did but here we are,” he began his post, which featured photos of him posing with his white Porsche. “I continue to never thank god enough for each and every blessing in my life but I truly will never be able to thank him enough.”
He ended his post by sharing a positive outlook into the new year, “I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for my life and those around me 🙏🏻.”
McLeroy was one of several stars who shared their lives on Bravo’s hit series “Next Gen NYC.” As fans may recall, the first season saw him and his former girlfriend, Ariana Biermann, moving into a $10,000-per-month SoHo apartment.
GettyHowever, in October 2025, Biermann announced on Instagram that she and McLeroy had called it quits.
“Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways. While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s OK. Love you all.”
McLeroy addressed the breakup just a day later, sharing on Instagram (via Bravo), “I feel like everyone deserves to hear both sides of our story. I still and always will love Ariana. She’s been there for me at times when I couldn’t be there for myself. I still have a lot of things I need to heal from and deal with on my own to become the person I truly want to be. I appreciate all of the love and support everyone is showing us through this difficult time.”
Ariana Biermann Moved Into Her Own NYC Apartment Following Her Split From McLeroy
Right after the couple’s split, Biermann shared a video on Instagram documenting her move into her own New York City apartment. “Today is moving day, again. I’m moving into my own apartment. … First ever apartment in New York City. I’m the sole person on the lease,” she began her video.
Biermann then touched on her breakup, noting, “I’m excited, but also a very bittersweet thing.”
The clip then showed movers packing up her belongings from the apartment she shared with McLeroy before following her as she drove to her new home, where the movers unloaded everything. As day turned into night, Biermann was seen standing on her balcony, taking in the stunning Manhattan skyline.
“My first night ever in my own apartment,” she ended her video.
According to Bravo, “Next Gen NYC” is officially returning for a second season. The network’s Instagram account teased the show’s return with a clip featuring some of the cast’s most memorable season one sayings. “They’re back in a New York minute,” the clip showed, with a caption that read, “Season 2 loading…”
Additionally, all of the cast members who appeared in the premiere season are set to return, so it will certainly be interesting to watch Biermann and McLeroy navigate their separation in the new season.

If I have to watch something on TV, it won’t be a bunch of ego laden, spoiled, unthankful brats!
