Brandi Glanville is receiving support from a close friend as she continues a years-long search for answers surrounding her health.
A GoFundMe has been launched on behalf of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum to help cover the mounting costs associated with her ongoing medical treatment. Glanville’s friend Gina Rodriguez organized the fundraiser, which has a $28,000 goal.
According to the fundraiser, Glanville has spent the past three years dealing with an illness that has dramatically affected both her health and her ability to work. After seeing numerous doctors and undergoing different treatments, the 53-year-old now has multiple diagnoses and a treatment plan expected to continue for months.
The fundraiser comes after Glanville has increasingly shared her health struggles publicly, including changes to her face and the toll the ordeal has taken on her daily life.
Brandi Glanville Faces Months of Treatment and Multiple Procedures
The GoFundMe states that Glanville has been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis, also known as Valley fever, Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis.
Doctors have also identified a fungal ball in her face that needs to be removed, according to the fundraiser.
Glanville’s current treatment reportedly requires daily IV medication administered through a PICC line. The fundraiser states that she is expected to remain on treatment for at least four to six months, potentially longer depending on how she responds.
Her medical plan also includes multiple procedures. According to the fundraiser, Glanville needs to have the fungal ball removed from her face, old metal dental work removed and her breast implants removed.
Treatment has already become a major part of her daily routine.
“Despite enduring 12 hours of IV medication daily and everything that comes along with it, she has experienced very little improvement so far,” the fundraiser states. “She is exhausted, in pain and trying to mentally prepare herself for months more of treatment and surgeries.”

The fundraiser also sheds new light on the financial impact of Glanville’s medical issues.
Even with insurance, her treatment alone is reportedly costing approximately $3,300 to $6,000 per month. That figure does not include additional costs related to surgeries, medications, doctors, dental work and other expenses.
Her health has also limited how much she can work, with the fundraiser stating that her podcast is currently the only job she can consistently continue.
“Anyone who knows Brandi knows how independent she is. Asking for help is not easy for her,” the GoFundMe states. “But the reality is that she doesn’t know how she is going to financially make it through another 4–6 months of treatment especially if that treatment needs to continue even longer.”
The former Bravo star has been open about her changing appearance and medical uncertainty throughout her health battle. The fundraiser says she now plans to share more of the difficult moments she experienced before receiving answers, as well as what treatment looks like today.
For now, the focus remains on getting through the months of treatment ahead.
“Brandi has a long road ahead of her, but she finally has answers and a plan,” the fundraiser reads. “Now she needs help getting through it.”
