RHOBH Alum Brandi Glanville Reveals the Heartbreaking Details of Her Diagnosis

Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville has been open since 2023 about her health issues, with her problems seemingly beginning after filming Bravo’s unaired “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco.” Now, years later, the troubled reality star is revealing that she was diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella, Enterobacter with biofilm, among other ailments.

Glanville took to Instagram on September 8 after previously documenting her treatment on the platform. She began by saying, “I’m finally ready to tell you what I’ve actually been fighting and to start sharing some of my worst moments leading up to finally getting diagnosed.”

The RHOBH alum then shared her diagnosis, stating that she has been suffering from ESBL Klebsiella, Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (also known as Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis (overpopulation of skin mites), and Mononucleosis.

From there, Glanville discussed the treatments she would need to undergo. According to her, “I also have a fungal ball in my face that needs to be removed. I have to get the metals from old dental work out of my mouth, my breast implants need to come out, and I’m looking at 4–6 months of daily IV treatment.”

Unfortunately for her, not only has she struggled with the treatments, but she’s experienced “very little improvement.” Glanville then revealed the financial toll her health care is taking.

She shared, “Even with insurance, this is costing me around $3,300–$6,000 a month. I’m not able to work right now other than my podcast, and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this mentally or financially.”

Glanville continued her Instagram post by becoming vulnerable about the information she’s shared over the years, as well as her appearance. In her words, “I’m sharing some really bad moments, and I know I don’t look good in these videos. Honestly, I don’t care. I feel terrible, and this is what being sick looks like for me right now.”

After that, the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star asked fans to “be nice in the comments,” saying she’s “already fighting enough.”

She added, “I just want this [stuff] OUT of my body. I want my health back. I want my life back, and I want to feel like me again. I’ll be sharing more of what I’ve been going through, the treatments, the surgeries, and hopefully eventually the other side of this.”

Then RHOBH Alum Has Been Open About Her Treatments

Glanville took to Instagram on September 7 to share that she had been undergoing intensive IV treatments, including 18-hour infusions. She did so via three separate videos on the social media platform. Sadly, the treatments have adverse effects, including causing the “Housewives” alum to feel unwell and rendering her homebound on some occasions.

In the third video, she discussed receiving an MRI and an ultrasound. Regarding the results, she said the medical professionals found “something alive” in her face and that “it was moving.”

She added, “And she’d never seen anything like it, and the radiologist agreed. So yeah, if I don’t find a radiologist to come cut this out of my face, I’m gonna do it myself.”
