Fans were surprised when “Next Gen NYC” stars Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy announced their split in October 2025. The couple had been together since their high school days in Atlanta, and while their relationship was on-and-off over the years, they were each other’s first love. It made the breakup feel especially unexpected to those who followed their journey on social media and on the Bravo show.
However, in a recent Instagram post, Biermann appeared to hint that she and McLeory were back together. In fact, the news seemed to shock her family, including her sister, Brielle Biermann.
Ariana Biermann Hints She & Ex-Boyfriend Hudson McLeroy Are Back on With Instagram Video
“Next Gen NYC” star Ariana Biermann teased that her relationship with Hudson McLeroy is back on after the pair announced their split six months ago.
In an April Instagram video, Biermann is seen lying on a beach as she lip-syncs lyrics from “You & The 6” by Drake. It was a moment that was especially telling about her relationship status with McLeroy as she mouths the lines, “She said I heard you back with you know who/ I told the girl I’m always back with you know who.”
The video also showed a tattooed arm entering the frame, gently brushing sand off of Biermann’s face. Fans were quick to recognize the ink belonged to McLeory. Biermann captioned her video, “<3,” further implying that she and McLeory were once again an item.
Biermann first announced their split on Instagram Stories in October, sharing, “hudson and i have decided to go our separate ways, while these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. we are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s okay, love you all.”
Biermann’s Family Weighs In on Her Romance With McLeroy
GettyFans in the comment section of her Instagram post were excited to see Biermann and McLeroy work out their differences and rekindle their romance, especially since they’ve had a long history together.
In fact, Biermann’s mom, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak, also weighed in on their relationship status. In the comment section, she wrote, “Love you guys so much ❤️❤️.”
However, Biermann’s older sister, Brielle Biermann, seemed to be in shock over the news, writing, “WHAT!?!!!!! Since WHEN 😱”
Zolciak has remained a strong supporter of her youngest daughter, even when she and McLeory announced their decision to split in October 2025. Appearing at BravoCon 2025, the RHOA alum shared, “I love them. But they need to grow. They’ve been together on and off for 10 years and they’re just going in different directions.” She then added, “They’re friends. I don’t ever see them not being friends to be honest. They’re best friends actually.”
And, it looks like McLeroy is also making it clear that he and Biermann are back on. In an April 20 Instagram post, he shared a carousel of images that included a blurry photo of what appeared to be Biermann in a gold dress. His caption read, “Back and better than ever…”
“Next Gen NYC” is also returning for a second season, with Biermann and McLeroy expected to return.
