Brielle Biermann is speaking candidly about her relationship with her father, Kroy Biermann, as her family continues navigating his divorce from Kim Zolciak.
The 28-year-old appeared on Reginae Carter’s YouTube series “Heir Time” on Sept. 5, where she discussed how things currently stand with her dad, who legally adopted her in 2013.
Ariana Biermann Reflects on Her Relationship With Kroy Biermann
While speaking with Carter about her relationship with Kroy, Brielle Biermann said, “I’d say it’s just like, here and there.”
The reality star went on to note that her younger sister, Ariana Biermann, had also described their relationship with Kroy in a memorable way during a June 29 episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”
“She said it depends on which divorce filing he’s filing that day,” Brielle explained, alluding to the ongoing legal back-and-forth between Kroy and Zolciak. “Because it’s like, every other day there’s something new.”
Despite the challenges, Brielle emphasized that her connection with her father still remains intact.
“It’s just difficult, cause you know, my mom’s my mom, and she will always be my mom, and I love Kroy and Kroy will always be my dad,” she said. “I just don’t think that I’m seeing eye to eye with him on a lot of things right now, so I would say our relationship is not frayed, it’s just not what it once was.”
She added, “We’re still decently close, but it’s just not what it once was.”
Brielle’s Bond With Kim Zolciak
Brielle’s comments came just ahead of Kroy’s 40th birthday on Sept. 12. To mark the milestone, she shared photos with her father on Instagram, writing: “40 years old. Time is flying by.”
While her relationship with Kroy has become complicated, Brielle says her bond with her mom, Kim Zolciak, remains strong.
When Carter asked what qualities she sees in herself that came from her mom, Brielle replied, “Her kindness, her eye for fashion, style, all things flawless.”
Brielle also Kim for continuing to raise six children during such a public and difficult split.
“I really feel for my mom,” she said. “It’s been really, really difficult for her and Kroy, but I really don’t know how she’s standing, some days. Sometimes I look at her and I’m like, ‘You really are superwoman.’ And I know everybody says that about their mom, but if you only knew.”
