Country music star Lee Brice has provided a heartfelt update to his fans about his missing dog, just a day he first revealed that the beloved pet had escaped from the family home. Thankfully, the news is positive, with the multi-platinum certified musician confirming that the dog has been found and is back home recovering.
Lee Brice Confirms that His Pet Dog is Back Home
Earlier this week, Brice pleaded for help from his fans when his beloved pet dog Charlee went missing. Writing on Instagram, the country musician explained that the pet had been missing for two weeks and asked for help in tracking her down.
“Two weeks ago, our sweet girl Charlee slipped away from home, and our hearts have been heavy ever since,” wrote Brice. “She’s not just a dog, she’s family. She’s pregnant, carrying those little pups, and every day that passes without her safe in our arms feels like a lifetime. We’ve searched every back road, called every shelter, and prayed harder than we ever have.”
Brice continued, “To everyone reading this, y’all know how much our four-legged friends mean to us country folks. If you’ve seen a pregnant dog that looks like her, or heard anything at all, please message me, comment below, or share this post.”
“Any little clue could bring her home to her babies… and to us. Thank y’all from the bottom of this worried heart. Your kindness and prayers mean the world.”
In an update posted to Instagram, Brice has now confirmed that Charlee is back home, although she has suffered some injuries. The video shared on social media shows an emotional Brice with Charlee, who can be seen lying in her bed resting.
In the caption accompanying the video, Brice revealed that “her little leg is broken,” but that she is otherwise unhurt and in a good condition. He then went on to say, “She’s so happy to be home. I’m so happy to have her home. Thank y’all so much for all y’all did. …Man, (it took) 24 hours to find somebody so special. I appreciate y’all again and again.”
Lee Brice Confirms New Tour Dates for 2026
The news about Brice’s dog comes as he also announced a series of additional tour dates for 2026, following his successful “What You Know About That Tour” in 2025.
Announcing the new dates on social media, Brice said, “New 2026 Live In Concert dates just announced! Can’t wait for the year ahead with all these amazing shows, and so much more new music on the way!”
