Beyoncé Breaks Record for Country Music Tour
While revenue from music sales may be down thanks to a dramatic drop in physical sales and the advent of streaming services like Spotify, there is still plenty of money to be made by artists from touring. So it is little surprise that musicians are now concentrating on touring as much as possible to maximize their earnings.
Just last year, Beyoncé made history with the highest-earning country music tour. The“Crazy in Love” singer made $407.6 Million from her “Cowboy Carter Tour.”
The tour followed Beyoncé’s switch to country music for the “Cowboy Carter” album, which went on to become a best-seller and won numerous awards.
