Country Group Announces Hiatus & Thanks Their Fans for the Journey

Country music group Chapel Hart has built a loyal fan base over the years following their appearance on “America’s Got Talent.” However, the trio, comprising sisters Danica and Debynn Hart, along with their first cousin, Trea Swindle, has decided to go on hiatus. Now, they’re thanking their fans for the support over the years.

Chapel Hart took to their official Instagram in August 2025 to make the announcement. They wrote, “Over the last few years, Chapel Hart has taken us places we never could have imagined. We have laughed, cried, grown, and stood on stages we used to dream about. More than anything, we have shared a bond that goes deeper than music, and that part will always remain.”

Their statement continued, “As we each step into new seasons in life, we have decided to press pause on Chapel Hart so we can explore other passions and dreams that have been calling to us individually. This is not a goodbye. It is a celebration of everything we have built and a step toward everything still to come.”

The country music group then discussed their plans as they navigate separate journeys, stating, “We kindly ask for the same love and support as we each walk our different paths. You can find Danica sharing her journey at @thedanicahart while Dev and Trea begin their next chapter at @magnoliarisingofficial.”

The ladies concluded by saying, “We want to celebrate the community we’ve built together, so as we finish playing our scheduled shows for the rest of the season, we hope that we get to see each and every one of you on the road!! We love and thank you for being a part of the congregation, and we look forward to your continued support.”

The Group Dates Back to 2014

Chapel Hart began performing together in 2014 on the streets of New Orleans. The group released its first single, “Jesus & Alcohol,” in 2020. The following year, CMT included them in its Next Women of Country campaign. They then released another single, “I Will Follow.”

The song they’re most known for, “You Can Have Him Jolene,” was released in 2021. They later competed on “America’s Got Talent” in 2022 and finished fifth on the hit competition series. Chapel Hart then returned for “AGT: Fantasy League” in 2024. According to Billboard, the group also made its Grand Ole Opry debut in 2022.

The group has released four albums, with the latest, “Hartfelt Family Christmas,” in 2024. They have over 102,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

They’re Continuing In Music

Chapel Hart may be disbanding for the time being, but all three ladies are continuing their music careers. Danica recently posted on her Instagram account to promote upcoming shows. She said on August 27, “The Journey Begins 🥹✨ 🔗in bio… would love for you to hear my HART”

Debynn and Swindle have launched themselves as a duo called Magnolia Rising. Their first post on Instagram states, “It’s time to rise. A new chapter begins… ✨This is Magnolia Rising✨ We’ve walked through fire and came out stronger, and we can’t wait to share the music, the stories, and the ride with you. 👉 Follow along cause this is only the beginning!!”

They also announced that their first single, “Dream Running,” will be released on September 12.
