On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, the country superstar took to social media with a touching tribute to both his wife, Faith Hill, and his mother, Elizabeth Ann D’Agostino.
The post featured a rare throwback image of Hill and D’Agostino sitting together deep in conversation, offering fans a glimpse into a meaningful family moment rarely seen publicly.

“Happy Mother’s Day to my mama and my incredible wife and mother of our 3 girls!” McGraw wrote. “Everything good in me came from these remarkable women. I love ya’ll so much.”

The couple share three daughters together — Gracie, Maggie and Audrey — and McGraw has previously opened up about the realities of parenting and the lessons he and Hill hoped to teach their girls.
“Anybody that’s a parent knows that if you get 30% of it right, you’re doing well,” Tim once admitted in a radio interview back in 2025. “You make way more mistakes than you do right.”
Still, the country star said he and Hill always had one major parenting goal.
“Faith and I have always wanted them to realize they have control of their life,” he explained. “They have agency over themselves. They have the right to do what they want to do with their lives and can chase anything that they want and dream as big as they want to dream, and don’t let anybody hold you back.”
Of course, McGraw joked that raising confident daughters sometimes comes with challenges.
“Now that can come back and bite you down the road a little bit,” he chuckled. “We’ve raised three really strong, intelligent young women and we’re really proud of that.”
