Tim McGraw has never been shy when it comes to gushing about his wife, Faith Hill. Just last month, the former Season 11 advisor of “The Voice” told his nearly four million Instagram followers that she was the “best damn person there is” in a loving birthday post.
On October 6, the longtime country music couple celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. You better believe McGraw wrote a swoon-worthy message for the love of his life.
Tim McGraw Honors Wife After Nearly Three Decades Together
McGraw posted an adorable image of himself and his wife, with him leaning down to kiss her. “29 years ago, on this day Oct 6 1996, I was on cloud 9!” The “1883” star wrote. “I was marrying the girl of my dreams, she was everything, my complete soulmate!”
“We have been through so much together, our girls growing up, me trying to grow up, and you, you, you, always there, always there for all of us when we fell, always you when we triumphed, always you,” he continued.
“When we love, when we live, when we think of how to love, live and dream, always you,” he added affectionately. “You are my girl, I love you with a fire that grows each passing year.”
McGraw and Hill Celebrate Joint Success: From “1883” to Co-Headlining Tours
Earlier this year, McGraw was on Tracy Lawrence’s “Road House” podcast and explained how lucky he felt to have met Hill in 1994. “Meeting my wife saved my life. I was a wild man,” he said. “I was having fun.”
“She turned my life around,” he continued. “I couldn’t have found a better woman. Not only beautiful and talented, but just a good, good person.”
The couple, who have three daughters, have also been fortunate enough to collaborate in their professional lives. Besides being advisors together on “The Voice,” they co-starred in the “Yellowstone” prequel, “1883.” They have also toured together, which McGraw referred to as the “pinnacle” of his career.
“It’s rare that people get to do that in this business, that a husband and wife get to go on tour at the pinnacle of their careers and get to do stuff together,” the “Live Like You Were Dying” singer shared.
“She makes me a better artist every time I have to sing with her,” he admitted. “Because to me, I think Faith, when you listen to her music and you listen to her albums, I think she is probably one of the best singers in the world.”
