It’s Show Day, and fans are eagerly awaiting the “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 finale on Tuesday, November 25. The final five celebrity competitors and their professional dance partners will compete for the Mirrorball Trophy, and Dylan Efron and professional dance partner Daniella Karagach have made it to the finale!
Fans of the ABC dance competition will remember that this is not Karagach’s first finale. Take a look back at her Mirrorball wins.
Daniella Karagach’s Mirrorball Trophy Wins
Karagach won the Mirrorball Trophy on season 30 in 2021, alongside her celebrity partner, former NBA star Iman Shumpert. She only joined the show in Season 29 and does not have as much experience competing as some of the other professionals; however, she has an impressive history.
In Season 32, she placed second alongside singer and guitarist Jason Mraz, and in Season 29, she placed third with musician Nelly. She has also competed with Joseph Baena in Season 31 and Dwight Howard in Season 33. Can she secure her second Mirrorball Trophy with reality TV star Dylan Efron?
Daniella Karagach’s DWTS Experience
Ahead of the Season 34 finale, Karagach will be hoping to secure another Mirrorball Trophy. She has previously discussed the experience of winning when she and Shumpert took home the prize. “I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving for it,” Karagach praised her then-partner in a post-win interview with Entertainment Tonight. “It’s never too late to start dancing, no matter what age, no matter what background you are.”
In the same interview, Shumpert discussed his DWTS journey, “I never thought I’d have a ballroom trophy,” he said. He also credited Karagach for the hard work she put in to make the win possible. “Hats off to the work that we put in. I think me and Dani set our mind to that when we got that 40, that we don’t want to just to drop off now and just steam out of the competition,” he said. “I think we just put in a lot of hours and when it was time to perform, it got easy.”
She also has high praise for her current partner and discussed Efron’s progress in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in October. “He really started from the ground up, and the fact that people are recognizing it week to week, it just makes me such a proud coach,” she said. “That is dream partner, for someone to show up and want to be there and work hard. I’ll teach you how to dance, but I can’t teach you how to work hard and be a good person.”
