James Says He ‘Would Not Be Alive If It Weren’t for [His] Wife’
To say that James loves and appreciates his family would surely be an understatement. In fact, while opening up on the December 19 episode of Today, he stated, “I would not be alive if it weren’t for my wife.”
He then explained, “She just has stepped up as a caretaker, as a nurse, as head of the household.”
He also brought up his children — 15-year-old Olivia, 13-year-old Joshua, 11-year-old Annabel, 9-year-old Emillia, 8-year-old Gwendolyn and 4-year-old Jeremiah — saying, “As much as I want to shield them from seeing me in any kind of pain or just stress — I wanted to be Superman, Super Dad. You realize that resilience is not only something they have and can build, but it’s the best thing for them.”
