Nikki Garcia Shares Injury Update After Missing WrestleMania 42 Event

Nikki Garcia, also known as Nikki Bella, was unable to perform at a WrestleMania 42 event over the weekend. The former “Dancing with the Stars” Season 25 competitor had hoped to wrestle in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on Saturday, April 18, but had to withdraw due to injury. 


Nikki Garcia Receives Support After She Shares Painful Injury

Garcia shared the disappointing update with fans in a post on X. She included a video of a very painful ankle injury and added her thoughts in text on the screen. “I’ll fill you all in soon … fractured, tore and sprained my ankle,” she wrote. “It’s been a painful two weeks.” 

Fans reacted with an outpouring of support. “You’re so strong, and you’ll get through this like you always do,” a comment reads. “Prayers, just goes to show not everyone can do what you do,” another fan shared. 

Other reactions include, “I hope you feel better Nikki! You will recover! Thank you for always being Fearless and Selfless. I can’t wait to see the tag team belts on you and Brie when you get back,” and “All I know is when you heal they better give you your belt cause it ain’t the same for the Bella Army.”

Nikki was meant to take part in the match with her twin sister, Brie Garcia, but she was replaced by Paige, whose real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis. Brie and Paige won the event.

Paige’s fans were thrilled to see her return to the ring, and she was equally excited. She made several posts on Instagram over the weekend, including one of herself wearing a fire print top. “I’m back, did you miss me?” she asked in her caption. 

Brie was thrilled about the win and shared a short clip from a match on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote, “You came along with me while I prepared for WrestleMania, and yesterday you got to see us take home the title. This one was for our #BellaArmy Catch up on this week’s ep of #HiMyNameIsBrie now!”


Nikki Garcia Shares Health Update 

Early in the morning of April 20, Nikki shared an update with her fans, letting them know she would be back. “6-8 weeks hopefully,” she wrote about her expected recovery time.

Once again, fans showed their support in the comments of the post on X. “WE PRAY. rest up baby! we can’t wait,” a fan shared. “You’re gonna get gold this year mother no matter who has to pay for it,” another person wrote.
