Earlier this year, Irish model and “Love Island UK” alum Maura Higgins rose to prominence in the U.S. after appearing on Season 4 of Peacock’s “The Traitors.”
Beloved for her striking beauty, her Irish brogue and her sense of humor, fans flocked to Higgins’ side after her devastating runner-up finish on the murder-mystery reality competition series after its eventual winner – Rob Rausch – revealed that he had been one of the eponymous “Traitors” all along.
While Maura and Rob have since made up, at the cost of one $20,000 burgundy Hermes Togo Birkin bag, Higgins is now expected further capitalize on her success, with rumors suggesting that the reality star is set to rake in an impressive $5 million pay day courtesy of brand deals and show offers – including a speculated stint on “Dancing With The Stars.”
Maura Set to Become the ‘Face’ of Major U.S. Beauty Brand
GettyAccording to an unnamed source speaking to The Sun on April 18, “Maura may have missed out on the cash prize on ‘The Traitors’ but that’s small change compared to what’s coming her way.”
The “well-placed” source revealed that, “shows and brands in the US are lining up for a piece of Maura,” following her “Traitors” stint.
“She’s got more opportunities than time right now,” they added, saying that it’s an “exciting place to be” for the 35-year-old television personality.
Amongst the offers rolling Higgins’ way, she’s reportedly “in talks to become the face of one of the biggest cosmetic brands in the US with a deal that will be at least seven-figures.
“She’ll be following in the footsteps of supermodels so it’s huge for a former ‘Love Island’ star,” the source continued.
The Longford, Ireland native has previously collaborated with beauty brands such as OhPolly and MAC Cosmetics, as well as recently landing a six-figure deal with Victoria’s Secret.

Higgins is similarly expected to continue her reality TV career after establishing herself as a fan-favorite personality on both “Love Island” and “The Traitors.”
While rumors at one point suggested that Maura was set to become the next star of “The Bachelorette” after the show’s most recent season was cancelled following the arrest of Taylor Frankie Paul, it seems as if these rumors have seemingly been debunked.
Now, sources suggest that Higgins will instead compete on an upcoming season of “Dancing With The Stars,” following in the footsteps of “The Traitors” Season 3 star Dylan Efron.
“She’s in constant conversation with TV bosses,” an insider told The Sun, adding that casting producers are desperate to get their hands on the newly-minted superstar.
“Maura is very savvy and she’ll make sure she’s getting paid her worth and is involved in every deal surrounding a potential show about her life,” the source added, revealing that Maura is similarly in talks for a “huge” project with Disney.
“She’s beautiful, talented, hilarious and hard working,” they added. “Her team in the US are confident she’ll easily earn $5 million in the next few years, if not much more. For now, the hardest job Maura has is choosing which deals to say yes to!”
