Supermodel Christie Lee Brinkley gave a rare look into her life when she posted a photo of herself and all three of her children, together for their Christmas celebrations.

Brinkley is a mom to three children, Alexa Ray Joel, Sailor Brinkley Cook, and Jack Paris Brinkley Cook. She shares Alexa with her ex, musician Billy Joel, and Sailor and Jack with her ex-husband, Peter Cook. In the family photo, shared on Instagram, the four smile into the camera while sitting at a dining table. Brinkley looks gorgeous in a Santa hat and red lipstick. Either side of her is Sailor and Jack, and behind her is Alexa, who smiles widely.
Brinkley competed on Season 28 of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2019, before withdrawing due to injury and being replaced by her daughter, Sailor. She competed alongside professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
In the caption, Brinkley shared her thoughts. “Merry Christmas Eve Everybody,” she wrote. “Joy to the World Peace on Earth Goodwill to All. Love one Another and May the spirit of Christmas be with you throughout the whole year With LOVE from me and my babies @nickandtonis (delish!).”

Brinkley has shared her thoughts on motherhood before, including raising children with public scrutiny. In an episode of the “Totally Booked with Zibby” podcast in 2025, she said, “Having kids is probably one of the areas that’s the toughest. Dealing with a certain amount of celebrity and the scrutiny that goes along with it is hard. When that overlaps and they start scrutinizing your kids and comparing? And that really hurts. Really.”
She continued, “It’s the one thing that I can say has been the biggest bummer of being famous, because you never want what you are doing to hurt anybody.”
Brinkley is a loving mom who wants to protect her children from hurt, and expressed her sadness over the way Alexa had previously been portrayed in the media. “And Alexa, she really got hurt by things that the media would say about her and continued to say about her through the years,” the supermodel said. “It was really hard on her, and it really affected her.”
