Matthew McConaughey’s wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, and daughter Vida Alves McConaughey, aren’t usually seen together at industry events. In fact, People noted that “[i]t’s not often that Camila and her husband, Matthew McConaughey, bring their three children onto a red carpet, but when they do, it sure is a special occasion.”
Parade also explained, “While the 16-year-old rarely makes public appearances with her famous parents, she joined her model mom at the 2026 TIME Women of the Year Gala, and fans couldn’t get over just how much the two looked alike.”
Camila & Vida’s Appearance Made People ‘Do a Double-Take’
There’s no doubt that Camila “was in great company on her recent public outing,” per People. “The model-turned-entrepreneur, 43, arrived at the 2026 TIME Women of the Year Gala alongside her only daughter, 16-year-old Vida. Their appearance made us do a double-take, especially with the two coordinating their outfits and glam for the star-studded event.”
For the occasion, “Camila and Vida went for white and black blazer dresses, respectively. The teen went for a shorter one-piece to show off her black heels. They also wore their long, wavy hair in a loose down style, which only emphasized how much they really do look alike.”

Following the event, Camila took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Vida, as well as a couple of pics that showed Camila alone.
In the caption of the post, Camila wrote, “@time Women Of The Year! What an honor it was to be there with my daughter, for her to see and be in the presence of the most amazing Women on all fields achieving important, inspiring and life changing things. Thank you to all of you for showing me and my daughter all that can be possible!”
