WATCH: Fans Rally Behind Struggling Food Network Host After Sad Update

Achieving fame in the Food TV world can be a ticket to consistent work in the entertainment industry, but that’s not always guaranteed. In the case of “Carnival Eats” host Noah Cappe, the road to stardom has been full of ups and downs. In late August 2025, the Food Network star took to Instagram with a sad update about his professional life since the show’s cancellation. Although the situation isn’t bright right now, many of Cappe’s fans took to the comments section to share encouragement with the beloved host.

“Carnival Eats reruns are a comfort watch in our house. Because of YOU and your obviously genuinely positive, kind nature,” one person said. Several other fans suggested ways he could take more control of his career. “Noah, start a YouTube channel!” one wrote. “You’ll kill it. Build your own brand, don’t wait for the call or email.” Sadly, “Carnival Eats” hasn’t returned with new episodes since its last episode in August 2024.

Cappe Has Struggled to Find More Work in the U.S. and Canada

After recapping the cancellations of both “Carnival Eats” and “Best Bite in Town,” Cappe revealed that finding new work in his native Canada hasn’t gone well, either. “I haven’t had any shows or work or opportunities in over 14 months from them,” he said, referring to Canadian production company Rogers Communications. In 2024, the company announced that it had secured the rights to Food Network and other U.S.-based channels in Canada. As the Food Network host explained, he felt as though he got lost in the shuffle.

Sadly, things aren’t much better in the U.S. for Cappe. “Food Network in the U.S., on the U.S. end, things got super quiet too,” he said. “After having a show for a decade on the network, I figured it would transition into other opportunities, but I haven’t even judged an episode of something.” He summed up his recent career experiences by admitting that he has been struggling. However, he did end the video on a hopeful note, saying: “We push. We grind. We move forward.”

Other Food TV Professionals Also Lent Their Support

Cappe has clearly made a positive impact on the Food TV world; even fellow industry professionals lent him support in his post’s comments section. “I love you. You are way too talented to have your light hidden under a basket,” Aarti Sequeira wrote. “I’m praying for you right now.” Sequeira got her start as a “The Next Food Network Star” contestant and has since branched out into multiple projects.

Even a former colleague from “Best Bite in Town” took the time to show Cappe some love. “‘Best Bite in Town’ was the best show experience that I have EVER had in my career,” they wrote. “Noah, a HUGE part of that was because we had you as our host. Your professionalism, charisma, talent, and kind-heartedness made that show so magical.”
