John Cusimano marked wife Rachael Ray’s 57th birthday with a heartfelt tribute to the beloved chef and TV personality.
‘My Forever Love’
On Monday, August 25, Ray celebrated her 57th birthday. To help commemorate the day, her husband shared a sweet message and photo on Instagram.
The photo was a black-and-white image of the culinary star. Ray is playfully posing with a fork and a mouthful of spaghetti.
Over the photo was text saying, “Happy birthday to @rachaelray, my forever love and forever home, wherever we may be.”
Ray responded to the post by liking it and resharing it on her Instagram Stories.
Rachael Ray Shared Her Own Heartfelt Message
Ray and her husband share very close birthdays, as the “Meals in Minutes” host recently marked Cusimano’s birthday on August 19 with her own heartfelt message.
In the post, Ray shared several photos of the duo together. They, of course, had Bella, the dog they adopted in 2020, with them also.
Rachael Ray started the caption by saying, When you know, you know.” Cusimano turned 58 years old.
Ray continued by writing, “Happy Birthday to John Cusimano. Love of my life and the most Wonderful daddy of Bella. We love you!”
20 Years of Marriage Next Month
Ray and Cusimano will celebrate 20 years of marriage next month, having tied the knot in Italy in September 2005. Ten years after that ceremony, the couple renewed their vows in the same Tuscan castle where they were originally married.
During an episode of her podcast “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead,” Ray talked about why she and Cusimano are so well-matched.
“You know, [John is] a lawyer and a musician,” Ray said. “I’m not a musician. I’m certainly no lawyer. I hate reading legal documents and official stuff, but we balance each other in a weird way. We allow each other to be open to different worlds.”
She also went on to credit Cusimano for being “essential” to her professional success.
Ray continued, “I love my husband, John, and John works with me and has built our business and our brand together, but we agreed in concept about service to community, service to the world, service to animals, to children.”
She went on to say that it was important for her to marry him because he “could be a true partner” in what she believes in. He would be able to help her build not just a business, but a community.
