Hallmark Channel unveiled its jam-packed 2025 lineup of Christmas movies — and FOUR Christmas series! — on September 17, 2025. Can’t wait till Countdown to Christmas kicks off on October 17? Here’s a little something to tide you over.
Below, we’ve got fun details from Hallmark hunks who will be lighting up your screens this holiday season — and the first photos and videos from their sets.
Hallmark’s 2025 Countdown to Christmas Promo Features Brad Paisley’s New Song
Before we get to some of the photos, be sure to check out the first 30-second promo with quick looks at several movies and series, including country superstar (and honorary Hallmark hunk) Brad Paisley appearing in “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas.”
That music in the background? It’s the 2025 Countdown to Christmas theme song, “Counting Down the Days,” written and performed by Paisley. He crafted the song with his longtime collaborator, Chris DuBois, and released the tune across all music streaming platforms on September 17.
We’re already in love with the chorus: “We’re counting down the days / ‘Til the world’s a better place / I can already feel the joy and the peace / Just knowing it’s on its way / And we’re counting down the days / ‘Til it’s Christmas”
Andrew Walker & Lacey Chabert Reunite For Their 1st Christmas Movie
HallmarkThis year’s Countdown to Christmas features some epic reunions of fan-favorite duos (and one epic trio!), including Andrew Walker and Lacey Chabert in “She’s Making a List.” Premiering on December 6, it’s Walker and Chabert’s first movie together since 2018’s “My Secret Valentine.”
On a break while filming their new movie in July, Walker told EntertainmentNow how thrilled they were to reunite. They’d pitched ideas to the network for their first Christmas movie together, but when they got the script for “She’s Making a List,” they knew it was perfect.
“This movie is really, really great,” Walker said of the storyline. “It’s an amazing concept — like ‘Men in Black’ meets Christmas.”
He also said he continues to be amazed by the way Chabert handles everything on her plate while being the undisputed “Queen of Christmas” at Hallmark.
“She doesn’t get affected by it at all,” he said. “She’s almost, like, innocent about it. Her whole life is her daughter and her family, and it’s just a beautiful thing to be around.”
Tyler Hynes Reveals Why He Agreed to New Movie With Erin Krakow
Also reuniting onscreen for a new Christmas movie are Tyler Hynes and Erin Krakow, who starred together in the 2021 hit “It Was Always You.” The beloved duo is back with “Christmas Above the Clouds,” premiering on November 8.
It’s a modern take on “A Christmas Carol” in which Krakow’s character travels through time to see herself at different stages of her life after trying to “skip Christmas” by taking a flight to Australia.
Singing Krakow’s praises as an actress, Hynes told EntertainmentNow that he signed on for the movie because, “selfishly, I just wanted to see Erin play this part in person, to be a witness and see her do her thing.”
Benjamin Ayres & Meghan Ory Play Childlike Angels in New Christmas Movie
HallmarkLongtime Hallmark favorites Benjamin Ayres and Meghan Ory team up as angels trying to help human beings connect over the holidays in “A Christmas Angel Match,” premiering on October 19.
Ayres told EntertainmentNow they “had a lot of fun” playing angels who’ve been hovering above for more than 100 years, he said, noting how sweet it was to play characters who were “old and wise but also childlike.”
In a funny twist, the angels work in an office in Heaven, and Ayres said the comedy gives the flick “The Office” vibes.
Jonathan Bennett’s New Countdown to Christmas Movie Was Inspired by His Own Family Vacations
HallmarkJonathan Bennett has two huge projects during Countdown to Christmas — a new movie and the second season of “Finding Mr. Christmas.”
In “A Keller Christmas Vacation,” premiering on November 9, Bennett’s character and two siblings — played by Brandon Routh and Eden Sher — are given a trip by their parents for the holidays: a river cruise down the Danube River from Germany, through Salzburg, to Vienna, touring beautiful European Christmas Markets and towns along the way. Unfortunately, the siblings don’t exactly get along and hijinks ensue.
Co-written by Bennett, he told EntertainmentNow, “It’s based on my own family’s vacations. There’s a lot of truth to it, and I love it so much.”
He also said Routh was the perfect person to play his brother since “everyone asks if we’re related.” The two have known each other since 2001, he said, and admitted it’s “crazy” how much they look alike at times.
HallmarkBennett also hosts the second season of his reality competition, “Finding Mr. Christmas,” alongside Melissa Peterman. Premiering on October 27, the search for the next Hallmark hunk will end with a new rising star landing a lead role in a holiday movie on the network.
Bennett gave EntertainmentNow a sneak peek at some of the contestants and all we can say is WOW, WOW, WOW.
Countdown to Christmas begins on October 17 and runs through December 21. Find the full schedule here.
