One of the many things Hallmark fans adore about longtime star Nikki DeLoach is her willingness to share hard things she’s facing and talk about life’s biggest challenges, from her youngest son’s heart surgeries to her dad’s battle with a form of dementia. The “Grand Ole Opry Christmas” star always manages to find the good while honoring what’s hard.
That was the case again on February 3, 2026, as DeLoach emotionally shared how hard it was, over the previous weekend, as the Department of Justice released over three million heavily redacted pages from the Epstein files. From crude photos to emails that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein exchanged with many rich and famous figures before his death in 2019, news coverage of the disturbing details was triggering for many, including DeLoach.
“Every single individual named in those files needs to be arrested, investigated and prosecuted to the highest degree,” she wrote in her video’s caption. “The abuse of children should bring this country to its knees.”
“Don’t look away,” she continued. “Don’t detach. Don’t explain it away. Choose your conscience over your comfort. Survivors deserve our outrage. Children deserve our protection. They deserve to know that we will always be on their side. Always. ❤️🩹”
Nikki DeLoach Encourages Followers to See Themselves as a ‘Sane Person in a Deeply Sick & Insane World’
In DeLoach’s powerful selfie video, she slowly began by saying, “I don’t know about you, but if you are a survivor of sexual abuse, and you have been reading and seeing the latest dump of the Epstein files, and reading about the most sickening, horrendous, vile behavior from some of the most powerful, rich men — not just in our country, but in our world — and you are feeling every feeling in the book, from grief to rage to absolute guttural disappointment … I want you to know that you are a sane person in a deeply sick and insane world.”
The “Curious Caterer” star then pointed out “there are two traumas” that survivors must deal with, which she called “two violent attacks that have happened against you.”
“Number one, there was the violent act itself,” DeLoach explained. “And if that wasn’t bad enough, it is the act of justice not being served. Of people not thinking that your life, your worth, your humanity is worthy of justice. And I’m here to tell you that they are the sick ones.”
“This weekend was hard,” DeLoach admitted, choking back tears. “It was really, really hard. And I just want you to know that you are not alone. Keep breathing. Stay in your body. Show yourself infinite love and grace and mercy, and surround yourself with people who show you infinite grace and love and mercy. And know this: justice will be served. It will.”

It’s got to be a massive gut punch that the perpetrators’ names are being redacted from the files. They are still protecting this vile predators. Thank you for speaking out for justice for all victims. I love you so so much.”
DeLoach replied, “Such a gut punch. It’s just sickening. Justice for all. Love you so so much, too, Nina.”
Nikki DeLoach Opened Up in December 2025 About Healing From Childhood Abuse
DeLoach previously opened up about being a survivor of abuse, bravely sharing in December 2025 — while appearing on the“Books That Changed My Life” podcast — about abuse she experienced growing up.
Reading books, DeLoach told host Chris Collins, was a creative escape when she was trying to block out the abuse she endured as a young girl, noting that she read 300 books the year she was 11, always “imagining a way out of nowhere.”
“That’s what books gave me as a kid who went through abuse,” she said. “You know, I would lay on my trampoline and I would read, or in my bedroom. I was constantly reading and books allowed me to imagine a world outside of that, and I would just disappear into them.”
“There was physical abuse in my childhood,” she vulnerably told Collins, “but it was the sexual abuse that really, honestly, just made me want to disappear.”
Noting how much she related to Glennon Doyle’s 2020 book “Untamed,” DeLoach shared, ” Just like Glennon at 10 years old, she became a bulimic. For me, it was anorexia and I just began to disappear, because if I was small — that’s what I was being told: ‘Be small, don’t speak, look pretty.’ Nobody wants your opinion on anything.’ And man, did it take me decades to untangle that and to learn to love myself.”
