Great news for sleuthers: a brand new “Hannan Swensen Mystery” is on its way! “Sugar & Vice” will premiere on Hallmark Channel on March 7 at 8 p.m. Eastern time. That means back-to-back premieres for Alison Sweeney, who will also star in “Romance at Hope Ranch” the prior Saturday night, February 28, co-starring longtime “Hannan Swensen” castmate Gabriel Hogan, who’s played Norman on the franchise for over a decade.

According to Hallmark’s synopsis, Hannah “finds a body at the grand re-opening of the Lake Eden Inn.” The logline continues, “When a storm traps everyone inside, Hannah must find the culprit before the road clears and the killer escapes.”

WHEN TO TUNE IN: “Sugar & Vice” will premiere on Hallmark Channel on March 7 at 8 p.m. Eastern time, and then premiere on Hallmark Mystery on March 13 at the same time.

March 14 on Hallmark Channel: ‘Nelly Knows Best: All Manners of Murder’

More good news for sleuthers! As previously announced, “When Calls The Heart” stars Kavan Smith and Pascale Hutton — who play Rosemary and Lee Coulter on the beloved series — will return for a second “Nelly Knows Best” mystery, titled “All Manners of Murder.”

The follow-up to their 2024 mystery will air a full year after it was filmed, in March and April of 2025. According to Hallmark’s synopsis, Hutton and Smith are back as Nelly and Detective Michael, who “set out to solve the murder of a guest while at a lavish dinner.”

WHEN TO TUNE IN: “Nelly Knows Best: All Manners of Murder” premieres on Hallmark Channel on March 7 at 8 p.m. Eastern time. No word yet on whether it will also run on Hallmark Mystery.

March 21 on Hallmark Channel: ‘Tee for Two’

Longtime Hallmark fan-favorites Janel Parrish and Chris McNally team up for their first Hallmark movie together in “Tee for Two.” Parrish plays Tee, a Chinese American pottery artist, per Hallmark’s synopsis, while McNally — taking a break from starring on “When Calls The Heart” — plays the new community center handyman, Will. The big question: “As she learns about her family’s traditions through art, can she and Will save the center from closure?”

It’s also worth noting that there’s another premiere happening on March 21 — the kick-off of “Hope Valley: 1874,” an eight-episode prequel to “When Calls The Heart” launching exclusively that night on Hallmark+.

WHEN TO TUNE IN: Catch “Tee for Two” on Hallmark Channel at 8 p.m. Eastern time on March 21.

March 28 on Hallmark Channel: ‘A Royal Setting’

Look who’s back! After several years away from Hallmark, Jen Lilley returns for “A Royal Setting.” According to the logline, she’ll play Ruby, a world-renowned gemologist who is hired by Prince Luca, played by longtime Hallmark star Dan Jeannotte, “to restore the crown jewels and design his crown, challenging tradition and complicating his relationship with his mother, the queen.”

WHEN TO TUNE IN: “A Royal Setting” will premiere on Hallmark Channel on March 28 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

  1. Just watched Paris, Wine & Romance with Jen and Dan [she wore loose clothing & always carried a purse in front of her belly; researched & found out she was pregnant :-)] – they were great together & I look forward to seeing their new movie – Love Dan’s natural French accent; hope his new character will have the same accent!
