Jen Lilley’s Hallmark Return Revealed, & It’s Sooner Than You Think

A familiar face is returning to Hallmark after several years away, and fans are thrilled. Jen Lilley, who previously starred in Hallmark movies such as “Paris, Wine & Romance, “Winter Love Story,” and “Mingle All the Way,” stars in a new movie for the network that is slated to debut in March.

Jen Lilley Pairs With Former Love Interest Dan Jeannotte for ‘A Royal Setting’

Lilley’s next Hallmark movie is titled “A Royal Setting,” and it premieres on Saturday, March 28 at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central.

Hallmark teases plays a “world-renowned gemologist” named Ruby in the new movie. A prince hires Ruby to restore the family’s jewels, and it seems that sparks will fly between them. However, her presence apparently ruffles the feathers of his mother, the queen.

Dan Jeannotte plays Prince Luca. Hallmark fans may recognize Jeannotte from when he co-starred with Lilley in “Paris, Wine & Romance.” He also had roles in “Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway,” “The Good Witch,” and a handful of other Hallmark projects over the years.

Lilley’s Fans Are Excited to See Her in Another Hallmark Project

Lilley has shared some teasers via her Instagram page over the past few weeks regarding projects she has in the works. She also previously told EntertainmentNow she’d return to Hallmark if the opportunity arose.

In 2021, Lilley left Hallmark to join several of her colleagues at Great American Family (GAF). She worked with GAF for two years, but did not renew her contract after that.

“I’d be happy to work with Hallmark again at any point,” she told EntertainmentNow. She added that she had remained “very close with actors at both networks.”

Quite a few Hallmark fans seem eager to watch Lilley and Jeannotte back together again. The premiere date of “A Royal Setting” popped up in the Hallmark Movies subreddit, and the news generated some buzz.

“I love Dan Jeannotte, I also love the movie they were in together about a wine competition in France,” wrote one Reddit user.

“I think she does a great job and hopefully Hallmark takes advantage of that,” another fan shared.

“I’m glad she’s back and looking forward to seeing them together again,” read a comment in another Reddit thread about the upcoming spring Hallmark movies.

On Facebook, another fan was overjoyed to learn that Jeannotte would be in a new Hallmark movie with Lilley. “Finally, a movie I can look forward to…bring back the OG actors,” they gushed.

While Lilley has filmed “A Royal Setting” for Hallmark, there is no official word regarding whether she is working with the network on additional new projects.

Lilley has a role in the feature film “Jimmy,” which premieres in November and also stars Hallmark’s Sarah Drew. According to Lilley’s IMDb page, she has several other projects in the works that are not associated with Hallmark.

  1. OMG I love Jen Lilly. I hope Hallmark brings her back full time… I jut love her in movies and her beautiful eyes. I loved her in A Paris Christmas Walz and I know it’s with GAC but I pray she comes back to Hallmark..

The one thing that frustrates me with Hallmark is the fact if someone wants to try something different and yet they still say they would work with Hallmark, Hallmark seems to push them aside.

  2. I wrote a comment above but again, I love A Paris Christmas Waltz….The gentleman who she fell in love with was perfect.. Omg I can watch that movies every day. I know it was from GAF but if you could get those 2 to have another movie together I would probably love it just as much. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PURCHASE THE MOVIE ON DVD BUT INSTEAD OF SELLING THEM, YOU GUYS THINK USING A STREAMING SERVICE IS THE BEST WAY..I DISAGREE!!!

  3. Have always liked Dan Jeannotte and look forward to seeing much more of him. But I didn’t miss Jen one bit. Wouldn’t watch GAC if it was the only channel.
