Scott Wolf took to social media recently to share a touching tribute to a family member on a special day, and Hallmark fans loved it. The star of “A Christmas Love Story” wished his oldest son a happy birthday, and the actor’s caption was an emotional one.
Scott Wolf’s Oldest Son Jackson Is 17
On March 22, Wolf took to Instagram and shared 17 photos featuring his oldest son in celebration of his son’s 17th birthday.
Wolf shares three children with his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf. Jackson is their oldest. Their son Miller is 13, and their daughter Lucy is 11.
In the caption, Wolf wrote, “17 years ago today, this beautiful soul turned on the lights in our hearts, and in our lives.”
“As my brother said that day, ‘He got born a 10, he just needs to not go backwards,'” Wolf jokingly recalled.
The actor gushed over Jackson’s “sweet face” and the “sparkle in his eyes.” He also praised the “powerful warmth of his being.” Wolf declared that Jackson definitely has not “gone backwards.”
The teen is also “friggin’ awesome,” Wolf noted, referencing how Jackson is strong, funny, brave, and wise.
“He takes such good care of those he loves,” Wolf shared.
Wolf wrote that Jackson should “always remember you are loved beyond measure” and gushed over how proud he is of his son.
Wolf’s Fans Adored the Birthday Tribute
The photos that Wolf included in his post were almost all entirely ones showing just the actor and his son. Only in the last shot was his estranged wife visible, and it appeared to be a photo taken right after Jackson’s birth.
The comment section of Wolf’s post was filled with birthday wishes for Jackson.
One fan gushed, “Happy Birthday Jackson!! Enjoy the journey!! Jackson you look so much like your dad!”
Another added, “So stunning! And a beautiful mix of both parents! Happy birthday!”
Someone else wrote, “Happy birthday young man! That has to be your son. He has the same sparkle in his eyes as you do!”
Jackson’s 17th birthday comes during a time of “healing” for the Wolf family. After a difficult year with Scott and Kelley separating, prompting intense issues that became quite public, the family spent a day together at Universal Studios in February.
An Instagram post showing both the whole family together received a flood of loving and supportive comments from fans and colleagues. It appears that Jackson towers over everybody else in the family, and the smiles on everybody’s faces were thrilling for everyone to see.
