Iconic HGTV Home Hits the Market for $3 Million: PHOTOS

“Windy City Rehab” fans will immediately recognize the “unmatched elegance” of Alison Victoria’s former Chicago home. Now, the HGTV star is saying goodbye to the 7,000-plus-square-foot estate.

Inside Alison Victoria’s Chicago Home

The Chicago native took HGTV viewers along as she renovated the live-work space in her 2023 spinoff series, “Windy City Rehab: Alison’s Dream Home.”

Now, Victoria is making a push to offload the home following her move to Las Vegas.

“If you think you recognize this historic bowtruss building live work sanctuary in Chicago from HGTV then you are right because it is a historic bowtruss building live work sanctuary in Chicago designed by HGTV’s [Alison Victoria],” Zillow Gone Wild shared via Instagram on Monday, May 25. “And now the 7k sq ft home can be yours for only $2,999,999.”

According to the property listing, the Parisian-inspired live-work sanctuary features everything from an open-layout dining area, 20-foot ceilings, a fully custom marble sink, and a 60-inch double-oven range.

“When I purchased the property and had it as my office and design center for years. I would always sit in there and think about how dreamy this space would be as someone’s home,” Victoria told Us Weekly in March 2025. “When I had the opportunity to turn it into that, my dreams truly came true.”

As for why she has decided to say goodbye, Victoria confessed she did not need so much space.

“Having 7,000 square feet to yourself seems opulent and dreamy. But in reality, it became a bit lonely. So I decided to downsize and find something that suited my lifestyle better,” she explained. “I travel so much for work and wasn’t really there to enjoy it as much as the space deserves to be enjoyed.”

The home, which was originally listed for $3.5 million, features four-bedrooms and 3.5-bathrooms.

Alison Victoria’s Renovation Project

According to Victoria, her initial budget for the property’s renovation was $1.2 million. However, she later revealed she went over budget.

“Truly, this is a nightmare to me. I moved out of my apartment three months ago. I have put every penny that I have into this house. So I’m in panic mode,” she said during the season finale, according to Realtor.com. “Because the longer this takes, the longer I stay in a hotel.”

She later told Us Weekly, “When I was there, I literally never left. Everything you could ever want all under one roof makes that very easy to do.”

At the beginning of her design career in 2001, Victoria moved to Las Vegas to work for Christopher Homes. Now, the HGTV icon resides full-time in Las Vegas, where she films her new series, “Sin City Rehab.”

“Some of my most important years were out in Las Vegas. Most people didn’t know that and don’t know that. I always had a house out here, and I always kept a life out here. But I would just mainly kind of pop in and visit,” she told House Beautiful of her move. “I needed a break. I just needed to get out of [Chicago]. I wasn’t my happiest self; I wasn’t living my best life.
