Nikki Bella is content with single life. The WWE superstar opened up to her sister Brie on “The Brie & Nikki Show.” Nikki, 42, confirmed she is not in a relationship and hasn’t been for some time. According to her, she has no issues being alone, although she would not mind being in a relationship if the right person came along.
During the discussion, Nikki told her sister that seeking out a romance might have to wait until her son is older. Despite this, she also confessed to missing certain things about having a man in her life.
Nikki Bella Doesn’t Fear Being Alone
Nikki Bella has not been in a serious relationship since her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev. The pair first met on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2017. They became a couple after Nikki’s split from John Cena. The two welcomed son Mateo in 2020 before marrying in 2022. They confirmed their divorce in 2024.
Nikki has kept a low dating profile since the dissolution of her marriage. The 42-year-old was briefly linked with Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean, 23, but later confirmed she was single. When asked why she hasn’t pursued another relationship by Brie, Nikki answered that she hasn’t felt “the need to have it.”
When pressed further by her twin sister, Nikki admitted she isn’t seeking out single life. However, she also doesn’t feel any pressure to enter a relationship at the moment. As she elaborated, she has no fear or worries about ending up alone
“I don’t fear being alone. I don’t have that fear if I never find a relationship or a husband or a boyfriend or a partner ever again,” Brie said to her sister. “I’m completely at peace with that.”
Nikki Bella Misses Intimate Things About Being In A Relationship
Despite expressing no interest in a new romance, Nikki Bella admitted she misses the intimacy. The WWE superstar said she would “love to have attention from a man,” listing the little things in a relationship she finds “cute.” She also reiterated that she is not at a place where such moments of affection aren’t first and foremost in her mind anymore.
According to Nikki, the realization that her life doesn’t require romance was a surprise. As she told Brie, she would be open to finding a new man once her son doesn’t require her full attention. For the time being, motherhood takes most of her time, which Nikki is more than happy to accommodate.
“Obviously one day it’s gonna come where Matteo isn’t gonna want to be with me 24/7 like he does now,” she told Brie. “I still love how affectionate he is with me in front of friends and stuff, and he doesn’t care about, like, it’s not cool or whatever, but I know that day will come, and then, you know, it’ll be such a great time for me to hopefully find a relationship.”
Before her split with Artem Chigvintsev, Nikki Bella was in a long-term relationship with John Cena. Nikki and Cena were together from 2012 to 2018. The pair split up shortly before they were due to be married. Nikki also briefly married her high school sweetheart at 20 before having it annulled.
