Chip and Joanna Gaines just wrapped their hit series, “Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House,” but they’ve shown no signs of slowing down.
Chip and Joanna Gaines Announce Next Career Move
The iconic HGTV couple revealed they are heading back to “Shark Tank.”
“Chip Gaines and I are back on ‘Shark Tank’ Wednesday!” the Magnolia Table author shared via Instagram on Friday, January 23.
The Waco, Texas-based couple is seen in a clip from the upcoming episode, participating in a demonstration for a brand called Bocce Roll.
“So you’re going to take turns rolling the ball, and you want either to get it in the cone or to get it closest to the pallina,” the brand rep explained.
Joanna lets her husband go first as Chip says, “I’m gonna win this!”
He wasn’t wrong because after a couple of rolls, Chip sank a ball into the cone.
“We are so excited to announce that BocceRoll is going on Shark Tank 🦈 Tune in and see your favorite yard game enter the tank!” Bocce Roll captioned their video post. “Shout out to @s0ulthief for her help and coordination with the set design, and @matt_lesac for the beautiful photography we used as a backdrop.”
In addition to Bocce Roll, the Gaineses will have the opportunity to invest in “a dorm bed extender for added comfort, a marriage proposal planning service, [and] a rechargeable cordless box cutter,” according to the episode’s description.
Chip and Joanna Made ‘Shark Tank’ History
The HGTV alum made “Shark Tank” history with their first appearance on the long-running series, as they were the first “power couple” to appear on the show as investors.
“Shark Tank” first announced the couple’s debut appearance back in July 2025, but later confirmed they were making history.
“Our first ever Guest Shark COUPLE is entering the Tank! 💙 Join @chipgaines and @joannagaines for an all-new #SharkTank, Wednesday at 10/9c on ABC and stream on Hulu,” the official “Shark Tank” Instagram page announced in October.
During their first appearance on the show, the “Fixer Upper” stars invested in two companies: GoodEgg and RepaintTray.
GoodEgg makes a liquid cleanser and a special silicone brush designed to clean farm-fresh eggs, something the Gaineses are familiar with.
They offered founders Amy and Bryce Van Leuven and Tim Rowberry $200,000 for a 20 percent stake in their company.
For Repaint—a company that makes a paint tray with a resealable airtight lid made of silicone that keeps paint fresh for up to three weeks—Chip and Jo partnered with Barbara Corcoran. The trio offered $250,000 for 15 percent (10 percent for Corcoran, 5 percent for Chip and Joanna), and founder Billie Asmus accepted.
