On February 6, Sherrod took to Instagram to share a photo of her walking onto a stage, noting what happened just prior to that moment.

“No one would have known that just before I stepped onto the stage, I received soul-crushing news. Yet I still walked out and poured into others,” she explained in the caption.

Sherrod continued, “What I received in return was far greater: a room full of prayer warriors covering me, praying for my healing, and asking for God’s hand over my life. For that, I am forever grateful.”

“You are exactly where you need to be. Show up honest. Show up raw,” she noted. “Show up even when it hurts. Just show up.”

The former HGTV star added, “The power of showing up and being present … no matter what is happening, cannot be overstated. There may be a blessing waiting for you in the moment. Or it may be your personal testimony that was the very thing that changes someone else’s life.🙌🏽”

Former HGTV Star Shares Thoughts on ‘Letting Go’

In a February 12 Instagram post, Sherrod reflected on leaving the year of the snake behind and moving forward. HGTV canceled Sherrod and her husband Mike Jackson’s show “Married to Real Estate” in 2025, but it sounds like she’s focusing on bigger things now.

“Whew … what a season it’s been,” she wrote in the caption.

Sherrod continued, “Letting go isn’t easy babies, but staying where your peace, sanity, health, or happiness are compromised costs far more. Release isn’t loss; it’s alignment. It’s choosing yourself and trusting the growth ahead.”

“Don’t be afraid to let go. God already has your next chapter written,” she added. “Ready. Set. Go.”

Sherrod’s fans loved her reminder, with one person commenting, “I feel this in my soul!!”
