Egypt Sherrod Hints at TV Return Following HGTV Cancellation

Egypt Sherrod is celebrating doors opening to new opportunities and sharing her message with followers. See what the former HGTV star posted on Instagram about “divine appointments” — and the hint she dropped about a return to TV.

Doors Are — Literally — Opening for Egypt Sherrod

On April 13, Sherrod took to Instagram with a quick video of her walking through doors that parted opened for her, looking stunning in a floral off-the-shoulder dress. The camera tracked her for a moment before peeking at a room set up for a celebration.

“Babies … God is opening doors for YOU that were ordained long before you ever arrived at them,” she wrote in the caption. “And the best part is they aren’t random opportunities … they are divine appointments.”

“‘What He opens, no one can shut, and what He shuts, no one can open’ (Revelation 3:7),'” the former HGTV star shared.

Sherrod noted, “That means no rejection, no delay, no person, and no opposition has the authority to cancel what God has already approved.”

“If a door is opening in your life right now, it’s not because of luck or timing … it’s because Heaven authorized it,” she added. “And so it is DONE. 🩷🩷🙌🏽”

Her husband Mike Jackson commented, “🙌🏾Amen Babyy😍.”

Fans flooded the comments section to share how proud they are of Sherrod. One follower wrote, “She is adorable! I need you back on TV soon! 💚”

Another fan agreed, writing, “I need y’all back on tv … I need my kitchen remodeled by y’all … You look absolutely Gorrrrrgeous Egypt 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.”

Sherrod teased, “Stay tuned.”

Sherrod Confirmed a New Show Is in the Works

On February 17, Sherrod took to Instagram to share her outlook for 2026.

“This year, I’m not designing from trends. I’m designing from testimony,” she wrote in the caption. “From the quiet battles. From the prayers whispered over blueprints. From the tears that taught me how to see light differently.”

The former HGTV star continued, “May the spaces we create this year be fearless … not because they’re loud, but because they’re honest. Unbridled, not in chaos, but in freedom. Unleashed, not in ego, but in purpose.”

She added, “I don’t just want rooms that look beautiful. I want rooms that breathe. Rooms that hold healing. Rooms that remind you that YOUR BECOMING is holy work.”

In response to fans who said how much they miss “Married to Real Estate,” Sherrod shared, “GOD is doing a new thing.”

One fan asked, “When is the new show??” and Sherrod shared, “Soon come! Redirection.”
