Some Fans Misunderstood Egypt Sherrod’s Pregnancy Photo
On April 6, Sherrod took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of herself with a body positivity message.
Fans got a little hung up on the photo, however, and thought she was announcing that she’s pregnant. Many seemed to miss the #throwback hashtag Sherrod included in the post’s caption.
“This body grew life. It stretched, changed, and carried more than I ever thought it could 🙏🏽,” she noted in the caption.
Sherrod added, “I used to measure my body by how it looked. Now I measure it by what it’s done. That’s the kind of beauty I’m learning to see. 🩷 #throwback.”
Fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages, including, “Egyptttttttt OMG congratulations mama😩🥳” and “Congratulations lady. See … there’s reasons for why things happen 🤪 wink 😉.”
Many of her followers sorted out that the picture was older, however. “Why is everyone saying congrats … It says #throwback? 🤔” one fan pointed out.
Another fan shared, “Egypt, you are so beautiful girl. I thought you were pregnant again!! You are gorgeous at every stage!”

On March 21, Sherrod took to Instagram to share a mirror selfie photo of her flexing her bicep at the gym.
“Transformation in progress 💪🏽🏋️♂️,” the former HGTV star wrote in the caption.
She added, “Evolving into the version of me I always dreamed about. Watch me rise 🐦🔥🐦🔥🐦🔥.”
Fans lit up the comments section, praising Sherrod for working on her fitness goals.
One fan noted, “I mean the body was already bodying … are we ready for a leveled up version?!”
Sherrod responded, “Yes a toned, healthy, optimized version.”
